Main thing going for the US is that as bad as it is here, we got our retarded hat to the north taking the real deep dicking in this oil glut. I think there's some restrained optimism in the US companies because canada will probably break first if this keeps up.

Terms of the lone are even more generous than I thought the fed would do at least. I'm not against hanging a noose over companies like this. Makes them put paying that loan off as a priority, which is exactly the way it should be.

The biggest thing to know about economics is a chimp throwing a banana peel will do about as good as a PHD economist in investing. Sometimes you'll get it right, sometimes you'll get it wrong. The biggest thing is to make sure you're throwing your bananas in the game.

I knew I'd be buying in before the pain is over, but I'm not here to...

Gilead stuff looks like yet more BS from them. At some point they need to die to a malpractice fire if they keep this up. They're basically using their drug as a snake oil without a single shred of published evidence that it helps. Markets seem to be soaking it up, though.

Oil prices are completely whack. The bad stuff is basically getting priced to oblivion. Canadian and US poor quality oils as low as 4$ a barrel, wtf. Apparently it costs more than that to even get it to market. Canadian oil in general is getting hammered to oblivion, most of it going at half...
