Great way to find good items on the cheap and with no hassle is to use poe.xyz. Can search by type, stat, buyout, online, etc. Lots of high level map runners put up decent rares at 1 alch/chaos buyouts

You're losing a lot of ES and not gaining much by going DW imo. Probably over doing it with evasion by going for the middle evasion ring, you are ranged after all. Go to marauder for the hp/phys/mace nodes, they're quite nice. Remember IB scales the fire damage off of your phys damage, so best to go phys over the elemental/fire nodes usually.

You will generally want to set up one link for single target dps and another for aoe dps ex: heavy strike + supports for single/bosses, double strike/melee splash for packs.

With the buff to life, first build I'd go with life based freeze pulser. Get iron reflexes combined with grace aura and the evasion circle in the middle for good armor w/o good gear. Spend the rest of your points on hp/crit etc.

Evasion is doable, I had a pure evasion melee ranger in maps on onslaught (20% higher mob atk speed) over hardcore. Iron reflexes combined with the new grace and that evasion circle between duelest/scion is an amazing way to get high armor while having shitty gear early on.

They're changing the middle of the skill tree and adding the scion class, a few new passives/keystones, new trigger support gems, etc. Should allow for a bunch of new builds outside of whats currently being fotm'd.

Plenty of fun builds, just not all of them are currently that map friendly. Or at least viewed as map friendly by the community. There is still a bias against melee/life builds and preference for ES and/or CI. Don't even get me started on hardcore/OS

It depends on how they define and implement consent/non-consent. They could do it like eve where certain area/zones are for bluebies, while other area's you consent to pvp by simply entering them.

Yeah, they added too many AA's, and made some of them too good (i.e. mandatory as already said) They should have either left the power gained extremely small or focus more on flavor. An example was paladin's had an AA that let them crit undead. Hardly a balance issue even if it was powerful...

The only reason to grind hardcore in FF1 (at least prior to marsh cave) was to limit the amount of gold you had to spend on consumables and/or if you wanted those expensive as fuck silver swords.
