If you're a pure str/dex build with no magic stats at all the claymore isn't really optimal. It shines with lightning/dark enchant which both require caster stats to scale well. You'd be better off switching to a mastodon greatsword or one of the hammers/clubs if you're riding high physical stats.

More/varied weapons and spells would be plenty of fresh new "gameplay" for a *souls game. Magic especially has plenty of room to expand rather than just shitty projectile spells for days.

It stops scaling as rapidly at 40. Almost all of the stats do this at a certain point. Int/dex/str/faith/attunement are 40 iirc, end/vig/adapt are 20? And I think vit is just flat 1.5lbs increase forever.

Blessed shield damage nerfed as well for the shattering throw rune (you know, the only good rune)by almost half. Like I said, they nerfed basically the few broken as shit things that every crusader used as a crutch to play the game, but they're at least making all the other skills viable-looking.
