On sending photos, our Sprint M8s (non Harmon model) send photos fine to Verizon, Sprint, and TMo users. Not aware of anyone that we've sent photos to with AT&T though. Seems like they'd be fine too though. I'd tend to think it's a user issue on either end.

Difference between a knife attack and a gun attack though is that you can actually potentially win in an assault with a knife even if completely unarmed. (Although the odds aren't amazing if someone knows where to hit with the knife) Gun vs. unarmed - you lose, period.
