Reinstalling again. It does bizarre shit. Like I know I am fucked when the sound starts cutting out mid note on this or that. Then I'll be able to complete the hunt only to have it shit the bed when I get to the exit menu, not save and lose all my effort.

Anyone experience any crashes? I have eliminated the possibility that it is because of overheating. Which leaves me only the game itself... It crashes most often when I am using the workshop menu for some fucking reason. Like right when I make something that would initialize the cutscene. Not...

Moreso today than 15 years ago. Nearly all major infrastructure like this is designed to scale as needed and then be discarded as needed. Sure you might get some angry sperging from forced server merges. But you would have zero of these problems.

Yeah I think my PS4 is fucked somehow now. No idea why it's causing so much issues now. Plays perfectly fine then just crashes. I bought the recommended SSD for it. Not finding anything online about this issue either.

Any of you experience the PS4 crashing? Seems to me that it is overheating but it never was before and it is on a fanbase thing. Also learned that it doesn't save after every hunt as I lost shit I just made... fucking argh.

Deleted and reinstalled iceborne, still no sound. Fixed it when I used another PS4UPDATE after installing the system on the new SSD. Weird shit.

I installed the SSD last night and everything went well. But now I get no sound in Iceborne and I can't for the life of me figure out why. I get sound on the home screen just fine but not in iceborne.

Yeah, but do you do that from the PS interface or within the game? I was looking around for the option this morning before I left for work and it didn't seem to be in an obvious spot.

@a_skeleton_00 I got an SSD I am going to plug into my PS4. Is there a way to force your save to the cloud? The one I saw in my cloud saves for Iceborne was from a few days ago.

The Charge Blade changes are badass right now. Really awesome how it isn't totally focused around using SAED the entire time anymore.

All of the weapon changes are genuinely good. I never liked longsword before. I'll be hitting up Gunlance next. Probably start using all of the weapons again!

Getting the hang of effective Longsword counters is quite difficult and frustrating. It's awesome when you pull it off though.

Just discovered the Trailrider mechanic. Mind blown. You can borrow the Palico mount to super speed you across any map.

Really if the expansion was just all these QOL changes it would have been great lol.

I really hated Nightmare Paolumu. Since he has diminishing returns on flashpod, how are you supposed to keep him attackable on the ground for more than 10 seconds at a time. Spam Cltuch Claw was kind of annoying and tedious.

Yeah I am running Longsword this time. Longsword and Hammer are just sooooooo much more satisfying with the Clutch Claw. Fuck yeah baby. LBG for range.
