That aside, you cook steak often enough, you shouldn't need to poke it full of holes. The thumb method is technically less accurate but it's good enough to still get the steak to the correct temp.

I like patron warrior but holy shit is the deck streaky. If you don't get either axes in your starting hand it like wtf do you do for first few turns? So many of the early cards in this deck are so weak by themselves. Any tricks to dealing with the early game as patron?

It's usually safe to substitute kale for spinach. I prefer it most of the time because the kale keeps some of its texture when cooked.
