We killed more mobs after, total loot for the night was 250+ items. Of those 146ish were from Hearol splits.

Apparently RoI lost the expansion race today. First was Silent Redemption and second was Reckless Ascenion.

For those who don’t know TSS has two completely separate but equivalent progression lines each with their own raid zones and final bosses. Here are both server first bosses on Mischief, both happenings simultaneously as well. I don’t think any guild has ever done both lines at the same time before.

EQC never launched. You may be thinking of the Sleeper EMU server and the guy Mafakka/Riddl/Famoorn led a Faceless guild there. It might not have even been that server, but I think that’s the version of the guild you’re thinking of.

Ah rip. I didn’t bothering checking how many were actually up/full. Just saw base was full, 1 had 399 and I was in 11 with like 270.

TSS cleared in 11 hours and 50 minutes. Amazing and tons of fun. Our FC2 was 41 people with an average raid level of 72.

Sharpy, Schinx, Halagren, Ravanta, Teslund, Depredation, Fupa, Shaitan, Airtaco, and Vallain are all launch players who came over when we formed "The Faceless" in Kunark during the split. Some main changed though so you wouldn't recognize the names. Most of them are super chill laid back dudes...

Why in the world did he think SoE would ever say yes? Why did he do years of work before asking? Why did the “no” stop him when hundreds of other emu servers have operated with relative impunity for a literal decade or more?

Because he advertised it as EQclassic for like 8 years and attracted people who wanted EQClassic. Then when he suddenly said he was going to do custom content it did fail. If he said he was going to do custom EQ content in the beginning he'd have attracted like whatever Shards of Dalaya got, but...

What happened to him? It just seems totally insane that he did thousands of hours of work on EQClassic expecting SoE to tell him he had permission to emulate. The other story I heard was he wanted to do custom content, another idea which would obviously fail.

It’s time to come to Mischief and enjoy double the server population. We unlock TSS this week so barely any lost progress.

Four months of PoP really sucks but our guild grew explosively during PoP. We went from two splitting to three full splits at some points. I can’t really say why for sure but I like to think the full split PoP launch helped us pick up disgruntled folks who were on the B team for their guilds PoP...

PoP randomization was fun but it was also a bit nonsensical. I felt like it was the only time so far where the final raid zone was a bad time investment. Not complaining about it though, because Mischief baby.

A few more years and we will start developing Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Then every day will be like the first time you fell off the lift in Kelethin all over again. Praise Cazic.

This is definitely it. People who want raid loot but don’t raid or people who want to buy their bis gear day one. It’s not crazy for the top tier item for classes like Monk and Warrior to move for 100 kr the first day of a new expansion. DBoWs stayed over 50 kr for a while it felt like and PoP...

It’s great for sure. I hope in time that Faceless will break into the top 5 on live, but top 10 isn’t bad. Maybe a few years from now we can deliver a fresh roster to them to help! I am also *very* happy to see OGC in 25th place. :)

CBQ was killed on Vaniki already.

They asked a number of community members from different guilds but they also folded and used shit ideas from the forums. So the guild leaders give you a list of possible targets with the understanding that gear will be tradeable, level reqs will be removed, open world will be viable for...

We will probably see the Memorial Day exp bonus begin at midnight PST on the 26th or 27th as well. So it will be on in time to give the first wave of levelers a nice boost.
