I have the 50 inch with out the gay 3D shit I would absolutely never use. I watch football and pretty much any kind of tv show. Never had a burn in issue. The tv even has a white wash function for IR. Many dumb people mistake IR for burn in also.

I have had my Panasonic Plasma for about 6 months now. In the living room with with 3 windows in the area. Never a glare/reflection issue. I also get comments about how amazing my tv picture is every time a buddy comes over.

We took WFRP2nd edition and use it for a Lord of the Rings game where Saurumon tries to become the dark lord. I like the system though we made a few home rules that smoothed it out. It's the first time we have used it but its been pretty fun and simple.

I love Futurama. Even with some hit or miss episodes this show still brings the laughs pretty well.

Thanks Vvoid that's exactly what I was wanting to know. Sounds like you get a lot more flexibility with the HTPC. This is my first foray and I think I just need something basic(don't we all think that at first).

Not sure i get your terrible analogy considering pc and xbox are not necessarily the same games and a pc is alot more powerful. My question was what does the HTPC give you that something like the WD cannot?

I am looking at the WD Tv hub with the 2TB drive. I just want something that i can put movies on, or run through to my tv. The only other thing im looking for is something to watch Netflix on possibly Amazon on. Not sure i really see the advantage of a full HTPC when the WDis 250. Please tell me...
