So to answer the question, there's two Luke Cages. There's the street level Luke Cage we see in the trailer. And then there's the guy who can hang with the strongest mortals on Earth. It seems to me, they are going with the street level Luke Cage. We've already seen Jessica Jones cause him...
Why? Because my avatar is Black, and he's Black? Anyway, Luke Cage has fought Namor underwater. And Namor goes into the Hulk category when he's underwater. He can lift 100+ tons in the water and it heals him instantly.
We watched this with the kids, and other than covering their eyes now and again, it was OK. This is one of the few Netflix shows that appealed to us both.
I really hope the action will be better than in Jessica Jones. Every action scene in that show was the same. She hits a guy, and he goes flying 30 feet in the air, most of the time, flying through a wall, window, etc.
A good bit of enjoyment was the mystery of what the hell was going on. We didn't even understand who the bad guys were clearly until ep6. That mystery is gone now.
Also, the fact the El can just look at the monster and kill it kind of ruins the build up. Five minutes into s2, after she's...
We watched this with the kids, and they wanted to see the next episode more than I did. This was an awesome show, start to finish.
They are already talking s2, but I feel as if lightning is not going to strike twice.
Every generation says the thing about the generation behind them. But yeah, millennials, I don't understand them, they can hardly be motivated to walk and chew gum at the same time.
OK, I sound like my Dad.
Make that 28 for SS now.
I've decided, that this will be the first Marvel/DC movie that I will not go see in theaters. Hard to believe that Man of Steel is the best of the recent pack.
This movie is at 29% on RT, versus 27 for BvS. And it keeps dropping every day, not everyone has reviewed it.
I like DC comics more than Marvel, but Marvel is owning DC at the box office.
No, this movie cost $175 million before marketing. Estimates are that the total cost was somewhere between 250-300, after marketing costs. Given how much that they have to share revenues with the theaters, that number is about right.
ROFLMAO.
I'm sure that will help make the movies better. That's all they need to do. Get rid of the critics and no one can say anything bad.
Is this Stalinist Russia?
