Once geared, surviving and resources are only only a problem when you're pushing your max lvl grift. Not being forced to use witching hour and those new bracers make demon hunter pretty tanky, more than capable of getting hit in t10 and you can use shadow power gloom for further damage...

They drop 2-3 at t7, not sure if t10 has a higher chance to drop 3, but it seemed like 3 dropped about 50% of the time on t7 from my experience.

I got 1 gift in nearly 400 paragon last season, I didn't get an ancient weapon worth a crap the entire season either, so I at least had that going for me. 100 in so far this season and no gifts yet.
