If you go to the forums there are deck design discussions that show artifact decks that "can" 20-0 the arena with very little cost. Please realize that luck plays a big factor in that 20-0 win even with expensive decks. My Blood/Saph deck would be quite expensive and yet I still have not 20-0ed...

The Arena is actually pretty well done. There are some obvious AI bugs but all in all I am having a good time. I have already made 600 Plat just off selling the equipment.
