That's kind of what I've been thinking. If Rams get a couple of turnovers and keep the game low scoring they can win 20-17 or 17-13 or something. But if it gets up into the 30s they basically got no shot.
I mean this is the actual reason but some people are more comfortable with the mental gymnastics to explain it away instead of handwaving it. Not sure why that matters so much to you.
Most of these Netflix movies are pretty shit and Mackie has like no acting range. He's fine when he's doing the dumb one liner thing, but he's mostly pretty shit otherwise. This is probably going to be a shitty movie.
It's the Durant thing. But you can't blame the team, that's on Durant and the league for allowing a spike like that in the cap. Any team/GM would be stupid to not try and sign a dude like him in that situation.
I don't really hate the idea of these movies being more serious and darker. What I hate is that these movies are inconsistent at best and often dogshit.
I mean yeah, there's definitely problems with the scene. I'm just saying that they at least put some effort into setting it up with all the stuff about her thinking about suicide by airlock in the past and showing how strong the oxygenated blood injections are.
If they're going to do this dumb shit with a team's roster, I prefer that they do it to this shit team I give no fucks about. If they turn Colossus and the Xmen into trannies I'd have a problem.
Yeah, and they set up how strong the super oxygenated blood injection was previously so it's not nearly as stupid as the Leia shit people are comparing it to. Not it's my favorite thing, but it's not as bad as all that.
All possible and that's not a totally unlikely middle ground to total implosion or everyone plays there for the rest of their careers and they win 55+ games and make deep playoff runs every season.
Certainly wouldn't mind some actually good Star Wars games, particularly an MMO worth sinking some time into.
SWTOR wasn't bad, but it wasn't the megamonster people were hoping for either.
I mean I get why you don't generally turn down a top 5/10 type player, just pointing out it's kind of a mess fitwise. There's definitely a non zero chance it craps out and they're just fucked for a good while.
