Thanks to instant swap seats you don't even need a gunner for your harasser for halberd sniping or marauder bombing. I dont bother with a halberd as my AV turret does more damage, but with my marauder harasser I can safely plug away at infantry while eating a few rockets. Radar shows a LA...

I can't seem to consistently do a drop attack on someone if I'm already gliding. If I'm already on the side of the building I just hold down the button, easy peasy. But I can't seem to master doing it while in the air =\

At 100m it should be fine, a good tradeoff if it improves performance. Unless you're running some weird 4 monitor super resolution you probably can't see many details at that distance anyway. I'm excited for the changes, and have been banking certs for...something. Maybe the Max...

I'd also miss my marauder harasser too much. That thing is serious fun if you are good at hiding. It helps that it's more durable than a lightning. Maybe I'll roll Vanu on your server, and see if I can be a max 100% of the time, just to troll people! They do kinda suck at CQC, but man...

I'm sure most here know this already, but if you walk in a lift pad, or just used a jump pad, you're immune to any fall damage for like up to 12 seconds or so (not sure on the exact time). Hope that helps you non-LA people

Gotta love the broken economics. I did have fun going through each dungeon once though. They were gorgeous and ran at 144FPS. This actually made one of my 2 GTX580s hit 103 degrees Celsius and blue screened me. I blew out about 10 pounds of cat hair from its fan and was good to go again!

Is there any real way to level alternate jobs that's anywhere close to FATE grinding in speed?

Are they aware of this? Like you said it happened to RIFT too, but a player found it out. Once they knew they fessed up and fixed it pretty quick. Of course all the RIFT white knights insisted people who were hacked were 110% at fault. No doubt the FF14 white knights will be even worse :P

You guys are forgetting the true measure of an MMO: What they do for the Halloween event! GW2 did a pretty bang up job last year. I, for one, welcome whatever event gets me a Halloween-themed ManKini for my androgynous man-elf.
