I'm the complete opposite. The novels always feel like weak books and Manga seem like better comics. Since I grew up on books and comics, and manga brings back that feeling I'd get when getting a good comic, it's the manga for me.

Yeah, you might not like it. I think he's genuinely confused that people exist that help each other. He slowly picks stuff up as the series progresses. Mostly he's just confused though and sort of emo about it.

My opinion on it is probably an outlier. This is probably a good list, I've watched many of them.

Ngl, Wind Breaker still has my attention. I know it's not grade A but the story keeps moving fast enough to be enjoyable. It also reminds me a tiny bit of my childhood so there's that. It suffers from the tease thing too.
