That is EXACTLY what FFXIV raiding is, though. You have to be able to handle mechanics perfectly while also maintaining the most DPS you possible can (tanks and healers included) or you just won't clear. These fights are very tightly tuned. Even with the weapons, there are still going to be a...

That version of Twister still isn't hard. I'll give you that I overestimated T2. Regardless, everything else I said still stands.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Uh, that mechanic was only difficult because of the lag from the launch of the game. Once it was fixed, Twisters became much easier. You can't say fights like T9, T2 (non-enrage), and savage T8 don't have hard mechanics. Also, the ENTIRETY of FCoB was an execution challenge. T12 and...

Getting befter gear will only help people meet the enrage. The mechanics of the bosses are still quite difficult. You could take eight random level 60s into T9 (a level 50 raid) and they probably wouldn't be able to clear it.

I heard a rumor that it's coming in 3.1. Post your kill pic or shut the fuck up.

You're a fucking retard. You thought 800 DPS on a SMN was good, there's no way you're clearing Alex Savage.

For those of you in Fat Chocobo, we've got acontest/event going on that you should totally check out. For those of you who aren't... you should join! \o/

    Archeage

For the sake of the only good PvP that game had, of course. When everyone has access to everything, there's no more race, and there isn't even competition anymore. People will only do things for the sake of them being fun. So you get a guild together and have a west chapter and east chapter...

No shitty Trion cash shop, RNG abuse is expected and encouraged (if not outright spawning your own items) so everyone is on an even playing field. No labor points (not that you would need them anyways, but that depends on how you want to play). Because EVERYONE will have access to the same...

Uh, our FC house is in The Goblet. You can teleport there from your teleport menu. The stable is in the front yard.

I'm the GM of Fat Chocobo, if you like I can invite you around 7pm PDT (that's when I'll be online) or if you send a tell to Gentle Giant, Gankz Fury, or Xyltch Fury, one of them can invite you. (Just mention that you're a friend of Krip's.) Of course!

Alexander 1 Savage down to 10.5% gonna push for the kill tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. @_@

There's a workaround for it. Send a recruit a friend email to yourself, then give the code to someone else. The code only works once, but it doesn't care which email is used to sign up with it.

ArcheAge Emu:http://play-aa.net/ Currently patched to 1.0. Don't know much about it other than I have a few friends playing it and there is an English patch.

Both CUL and CRP don't need Adamantite for red scrips. (CRP sometimes does, but not always.) I guess I got really lucky on my chosen professions haha

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

I dunno, unless I get lucky with Good/Excellent RNG, I have a hard time HQing something from all NQ mats for 1* recipes. Innovative Touch makes it so much easier.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Have you tried level 60 1* crafts yet? Innovative Touch can make or break those.

Innovative Touch is freaking amazing. Getting a specialization is worth it just for that skill.

    Made a D A N K M E M E to celebrate tonight's raid. Really loving the mechanics on A1 Savage. The boss is extremely well-designed, IMO.

Faust down, Oppressors down to about 50%. Might be able to clear tomorrow, though we haven't seen the enrage yet.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Yeah, me too. >_> At work at the moment; raid isn't for another four hours. If we don't clear Faust in one night, I'm probably gonna give myself alcohol poisoning.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Apparently the trash encounter in A1 Savage (Faust) requires 6.9k raidwide DPS or it's a wipe. Considering that most DPS classes are hitting a ceiling around 1200 DPS, that leaves 2100 to be picked up by the tanks and healers. Holy crap. Gonna roll in with my static tomorrow, but I don't know...

You're not gonna see me tonight. Got work all day then going to see some RL friends afterwards, and won't be home until after the servers go down. Send a tell to Gankz Fury, Xyltch Fury, or Gentle Giant for an FC invite.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

You can join Fat Chocobo if you want, there's quite a bunch of RR people in there. Gentle Giant, Gankz Fury, or Xyltch Fury should be online right now, just send them a /tell and say that you know me from Rerolled and you want an FC invite.

Hunting retainers are a godsend. My Rogue retainer is level 57 and can collect most things I need. Looking forward to see what else I can have her gather when she hits 60. My mining retainer, on the other hand, is worthless. I think someone in this thread may have already said it, but...

Yeah, Chimera Mane is AIDS. Luckily, (on Gilgamesh, at least), Chimera Felt is going pretty cheap; about 16k per bolt. Cockatrice Thigh also seems to have a drop rate that is abysmally low for whatever reason.

I would absolutely recommend this, just pony up the $18 and transfer over. Even if you don't like the class you leveled up, you'll get a 50% (100%?) EXP bonus for any lower level classes that you level on your main. And Fat Chocobo would love to have you if you need an FC. =)

You're going to want to start watching the cutscenes now if you haven't started already. After Steps of Fun, get some popcorn ready. There's about 30 minutes of back-to-back cutscenes, but they're extremely well-done.

Stoneskin is useful for WHMs on fights like T10 with the Prey/Erratic Blaster mechanic. I would absolutely recommend picking it up in case this mechanic ever shows up again and you find your raid without a SCH or AST.

You can. Base tier for new stuff is 5. When I raised my retainer's iLevel, she was able to start gathering 7 of an item, then 10. My Miner retainer can bring back 15 Myhtrite Sand.

Yo, I only have two retainers, one of them is a hunter and the other a miner, but even having my hunter run full time, I just need so many different kinds of stuff and in such large quantities that it doesn't really offset the drop grind. Icetrap Leaves, Pudding Flesh, Gelato Flesh, Deepeye...

I don't need to show you shit. Any SMN worth their weight can easily hit 1k; exceptional SMNs are hitting as high as 1.2k on single-target. Our static BLM and BRD - who don't even main SMN - can both hit 1k single-target. SMNs are the 2nd highest DPS right now, behind DRG.
