    Black Widow (2020)

Man, RLM really nailed it on this one. Pretty much all the dialogue stuff was good, but the movie fell apart with the action stuff. The whole movie feels like an after thought. I especially liked that this is kind of a crappier version of The Naked Gun.

Same here. Yesterday I was actually thinking that as we got really damn close to 4400. I'm pretty sure @Blazin originally said he thought we'd see 4300-4400, and well, here we are. It seems so unsustainable. But then I always come back to, "where else are people going to put their money?" Real...

That's the entire reason I point it out though. I've done it in this thread and Politics a few times. Because normally if you hear a word, you think it means something. I like to point out that when the government and/or Fed is talking about it, they're being incredibly disingenuous...

I don't know why they deflect with transitory like it makes it better. If something increases 50%, but it's a one time deal, that's transitory. It doesn't have to go back down though. Say a pound of ground beef was $3, and it goes up to $4.50/lb in 2021...and then stays at $4.50/lb, that's...

I guess that's where I don't really know what the worry is. The worst I can imagine is curvy corners of drywall (happened in our last house). But am I incorrect in assuming they do an inspection on the drain lines for leaks, and a four point inspection on the other major systems? Seems like...

The "math" choice pretty much favors keeping the low interest mortgage and using the money elsewhere to make more money. But the "mental health" choice has a super strong argument to not owing anything.

That's kind of what I figured I'd do. It'll have an inspection, so I'm not concerned too much. But I figured going by every couple days would be good just for the simple fact that I would know where all the plumbing/drain lines are, and electrical lines, and if things like insulation look like shit.

So is there anything to look out for with new construction? My wife decided to google the builder (mostly to look up the HOA), and now she's spooked. But I'm guessing most of that is just "people who have problems will complain, and people who are happy will be quiet." Like, I definitely have...

So yeah, just reiterating everything else, this was just okay. It was really more "Bourne" than Marvel up until the end. In fact, I'd almost say it was a pretty good spy movie up until she had to face off against the big bad at the end. Everything in that last sequence just kind of ruined it for...

Hope they're busting their asses trying to find a place. The rental market is just as cutthroat as the real estate market. It literally became an all day job for me to find us a place. I'd say most government contracts are IDIQ. And it's not unlimited, it's capped at $3.8B. It's also not guaranteed, it could be they make the minimum order (which could be as low as 1 unit) and never order again.

I think I've decided I don't really find this show funny anymore. But at the end of an episode, I still enjoyed it. It's essentially become an absurd sci-fi show, but without much comedic aspect. Almost like a continual Love, Death and Robots. I'm just along for some shorts about some weird...

Who knows? Mostly depends on inflation. One of the reasons I'd say yes is because if interest rates rise, and they likely will sooner than the Fed wants, you can afford less house. So as a buyer, it might be good to lock that in.
