Patron Warrior needs a straight up nerf. Hello Warsong Commander. Hunter is stupid and needs addressed too. But I think the way to address hunter is with viable anti-aggro cards. Unfortunately we haven't seen anything from the tournament yet.

Actually a very good card. But it really benefits Face Hunter and Aggro Pally. In fact I think it's great in Aggro Pally since you can buff a Divine Shield Minion with it to help the buff stick.

For everyday use I don't see Astral Communion a good card. But I'm sure that there will be a gimmick deck built around it. The question is will that gimmick deck be meta warping like Patron Warrior?

Yes they do. SG is flat damage reduction so it stacks with buffs that increase defense or resistance

I think aggro being cheap helps compound the problem but isn't the main problem. I'd be willing to bet that if Leper Gnomes were Epics and Abusive Sergeants were Rares you would still see nearly as many aggro decks just because of how effective they are.

That's actually a pretty good point. Another thought is that the 5 drop spot is already crowded with great cards (Belcher and Drakes which are neutrals) so if you're going to add another 5 drop to the game it also needs to be great just to be competitive.
