All the suits were him trying to deal with his demons. He mentions his demons at the beginning and this whole movie was him trying to beat them. Blowing up the suits was the final step in doing so. At the end of the movie he states he's still Iron Man. I've no doubt he'll make more...

There is no reason for them to ever not charge for it. Of the 5 people I personally know playing this game, 3 of them paid the $200 for the everything pack. I'm not sure if they will be avilable in a cheaper package later on or not but I don't ever see them being free to play.
