They do it because you see them at Exxon and Chevron stations getting gas when they are only issued a fuelman card to get gas on duty and fuelman cards don't work at other stations here. Jimmies rustled today when we had a 10% chance of rain predicted, got 4" of rain in just over 2 hours.

I saw those maps posted earlier today as an example of why Missouri should not have received a SEC invite.

Everywhere I have lived cops took their cars home and were allowed to get gas on the taxpayer dime during work hours at places like fuelman etc...then pay for it themself off duty. I guess if the cop was on duty I see the complaint. But most places I have lived it's almost impossible to know...

Wow that would never fly here. A large percentage of people work 10 hours a day 4 days a week and get 3 day weekends every week, by choice.

SEC announced today each school will get $20.7 million in sharing money this year. The Big12 gave out $22 million to all but 2 teams, those 2 teams got $11 million each. Not sure how that works.

The SEC voted today to keep the "bridge" schedule for 2013/2014 with 6 in division games, 1 rotating non division and 1 permanent non division game. They said possibly the next time they change it they would go to 2 rotating and move to 9 conference games.

I've never lived anywhere that had basements or tornado shelters, if a school has a hardened shelter and it's above ground how big does it have to be? Do they wind up building a hardened shelter adjacent to the school that's 1/2 the size of the school to fit all the kids in?
