Having done PoP with Amtrak and AOS. I can confirm AOS PoP race was so much smoother and better played than Amtrak's was but Amtrak's was faster because of Storms and server stability.

I tanked all the things on Phinny as a Ranger. You just have much higher access to Shielding and Avoidance then you should and as a result the gap between Knights and Rangers is very insignificant for tanking, but when it comes to sustained DPS+aDPS it's not even close.

Agree with all you said but this. Rangers are they absolute god tier tanks for XP groups in OoW+DoN ect. Rangers who gear properly easily tank all the content but having a Ranger tank over an SK is like adding another DPS to the group.

CT and Paw are both already solid XP spots if you have a strong group. The problem is if you got people leaving every half hour it's hard to find reps. Also the camps are full of healers so if you got shitters that aren't stunning/nuking when they should, well you're gonna have a bad time.

Mischief is probably the best TLP be to a tourist EQ player on. It will be really really easy to take breaks and come back because you can just dump your gear for Krono. Then when you come back you can by last expansions raid gear for pennies on the dollar and be instantly useful to your guild.

Enchanters are Dogshit outside of Classic and Kunark, they're just so insanely outclassed by Shamans and Bards as support classes. Even in Classic Chanters are only the 3rd Best int caster.

It only gets easier with each expansion. Most classes can make 6-10AA solo in a 30 min lesson burn in OoW and TSS unlocks live XP rates so AA just fly.
