We just finished up an old series called "Erased" I think. It was a really good mystery style show.
Started on ... not sure what the name of it is but it is basically K-on 2. The art style is so similar the girls could be cousins of the band girls. There's a rabbitish shopping district so it...
Thanks for the heads up on the move and the free stuff! Most of my friends got moved.
Some couldn't get into their accounts or had them tied to ancient long dead emails though.
I was away from mine for a long time and came back and my own art made me want to vomit. It is amazing how you can look at stuff while working on it and it looks fine, but if you step away you get a new perspective.
Flob, I always wanted to try a take-and-hold kind of game where monsters would...
I've put it up here GitHub - Kharzette/FindMyImage: Use magic to search your own local images for whatever you are looking for if anyone wants to play with it.
It sortof works. The commonTexts stuff could use some tweaks.
Hmm so now that I have this almost in a practical state I see a big flaw. This isn't what I thought it was.
I was thinking this could do "What % confidence do you have that this image looks like an orange"
But it isn't really that, it is more like:
Given this list of text items, give the...
Takes about 45 seconds to check a directory with about 1000 images. They really fly by so yea the model load is the big slowness.
Something leaks though because the virtual memory climbs to around 15 gigs. I have no idea how allocations and frees work in python but I'll have to figure that...
I tried a couple cosplays and it didn't recognize Frieren, but it did recognize Zelda fairly well around 50%. In both cases the cosplayers were semi naked. Hilariously a friend I showed it to knew one of the cosplayers was Helly Valentine so I put that in and it got 95%, so it recognized her...
I think I found something better. GitHub - facebookresearch/MetaCLIP: ICLR2024 Spotlight: curation/training code, metadata, distribution and pre-trained models for MetaCLIP; CVPR 2024: MoDE: CLIP Data Experts via Clustering
So for this one, you give it a few text phrases or tags or search...
Have any of you guys made any local image classifiers?
I had this idea that sprang forth from a problem: I was chatting with a friend about how artists in the 80's leveraged the strangeness of CRT pixels to make better sprites, and I had the perfect image stored to show it off. I won't post...
Worked on this a bit more, fiddling with the createwindow call down in wine. Nothing ever seemed to change, but I discovered on this version of proton, alt-enter works! So I just set a lower base resolution and go to this semi-fullscreen and everything is mostly readable.
Pretty sure whatever...
I figured out that the best way to get a custom dxvk going is just to build it into your own proton. I've done that but I frogot that quarm comes with its own d3d 8 and 9 dlls that must be used.
Beyond just scaling I was thinking it might be possible to put some postprocessing in the beginning...
I haven't played in a long time. I fired it up and fixed my UI and zeal and it is really nice now. You don't even really notice the old-client jank as zeal fixes it all. There are so many options!
Tiny fonts are still a problem, and I'm old and blind so I've been experimenting with scaling...
ohhhhh yeaaaaaaaaaaa. Go out around 6am and stand in a dewy field of flowers and spin around and click and you'll fill up your literjons fast.
It is a good way to get water that doesn't involve murder.
I too thought it was drunken rednecks, but it is usually a slavers vs scavs or massive carrot gang vs dessert lovers vs fire sisters etc. Usually they will look slightly different.
There's one testing station that has a bunch of choamies and they slug it out with the slavers in there.
I was out murdering skellies along the border with Fallen Pass (I think), and a big fighter came up and wanted to group and said I could keep all the plunder. Wow they are really good at killing fast.
I didn't think of trying HDR! I wonder if it even works in xwindows.
I tried to get the xlibre fork going yesterday but it is a pain in the ass right now.
Was watching one of the many roll-you-own cpu vids out on youtube and came across this solder method I'd never seen.
He designed and ordered a PCB, and it came with this stencil that you put over the PCB and slather "solder paste" through. You just line it up and squish the stuff through the...
I really love the early struggle in these kinds of games.
Old Empyrion was so good for that. Crash land in a pod in a jungle full of raptors. It's 140 degrees and you are running for your life, half dead, trying to find a little bit of iron so you can make a constructor. Good times.
