Mediots buying that Dez will sit out games. Mediots conveniently forget that once the Franchise tender is signed, no new deal can be signed until after the end of the season. So if he does sit out, he loses money. So if a new deal doesn't appear by July 15th, then he's "stuck" on his Franchise...

    DOOM

Pretty much what I want out of a Doom game. Fast paced, gory, as well as macabre (the part in the gameplay video where he goes and grabs a hand to advance is funny). Loved the crowd reactions to the moments we all want to see, especially the Double Barreled Shotgun.

Putting this on my list seeing as how you guys say it's worth a watch. After Breaking Bad, from which the first season was kind of meh up until that first episode with Tuco in it and then it just gets better and better incrementally, I'm willing to give something at least a full season before...

I'm glad I got my exposure to methodologies at my old job, even though I wasn't really a part of the process. Where I work now, I'm it. Everyone else in "software" is also "it" for their respective areas. I put up a personal little Kan ban board to keep track of shit I've been working on, but...

Had an amazing late run in his career too. Amazing filmography, amazing actor. Too many actors get afraid of being typecast. He relished playing the bad guy. And he'll be remembered well because of it. RIP

It's specifically used as IP octal separators (firstOctal + keyboard.DOT + secondOctal, etc). Those ain't changing. Didn't know about Magic Strings or Numbers before this but even the best practice research I did on the concept doesn't support something as extreme as this. It's one thing to...

I cannot mentally fathom the existence of this constant. With Android programming if you need something to have Application level context, you basically create a class that extends Application and throw it in there (more to it than that, but that's the gist). Whoever put together this app decide...

Randomly, in the middle of tracking down a bug, I see references to a global constant named DOT. What is it? Take a guess. It's: "." Yes it's a period. Or a dot. The actual call to it is "<classname>.DOT". It would have taken less time to actually write out "." when necessary. I think I...

Like Khane said, it's just instilled into their culture. Used to be a show on NBC called Outsourced. Very first show they trotted out a plotline of someone who was of a low caste being hired specifically so she could be fired. I have zero doubts about something like that actually happening. We...

I'd be wary if they weren't also throwing their own money back into it. It's one thing for a company to place the entirety of the financial risk on the backers. It's another thing when they share in the risk. That's why I have no problem making this investment 2+ years before I'll see the results.

Their scheduling is bullshit anyway. I mean, just as a Dallas example, the fiasco that was the Thanksgiving game was a direct result of them playing the Sunday night game prior.
