It does look terrifying, but the sun's magnetic field and the anatomy of a star is a bit terrifying, in general. The solar maximum is almost upon us, when the sun flips it's poles: This shows what visible light pictures look like verses UV light pictures, for the same amount of time: and...

AFAIK, the new leveling system combined with the new crafting system make it so it doesn't matter what you start with because you will be starting at effectively 0 in any tradeskill when you reach new content. Every xpac is it's own independent tradeskill leveling system within the overarching...

    Warcraft 2 (Soft Reboot

Nah, it's a win/win for us. If they prioritize SJW shit over story (90% chance), then we can laugh at it crashing and burning. If they actually make a good story, then we get a good movie (1% chance). It's not like they can hurt the IP's lore any more than they already have with modern WoW's...

They need to go straight to the Lich King or Illidan story lines if they want to start a successful set of movies or TV series. Unfortunately, neither are homosexual women of color, so I am sure we will get more orcs and/or trolls.

Baldur's Gate 3 by Larian Games

Indeed, the EE edition of the previous games have certainly been the best experience. I know that chapter 3 will be fleshed out better in that version, but I would love it if you could toggle the romance bullshit off from character by character or even altogether. That said, it's still a fine...

World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery

Low level is going to have major differences, and dunno how much the runes helped the situation, but I have vague memories of non healer Paladins being kinda trash in Vanilla due to the "hybrid tax." Blizzard tossed them just enough bones in a couple fights, in each raid where they were...

When you are out there showing the public how the scams that people like John Edward, Syvia Brown, and Peter Popov work, it makes for a less gullible public for lesser know fraudsters to take advantage of. The more publicity Randi got, the more people would feel that he is jeopardizing their...

I don't remember what they are called, but there are other light shows like that, but are white/blue, in the high atmosphere from lightning ionizing the upper atmosphere (or some such) that has been caught by storm chaser aircraft and/or the ISS before this special study.

World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery

While I haven't been following it that close, I don't think they have announced any changed to end game raiding in this Season of Discovery thing. My guess would be that rebalancing and changing mechanics to make 40 man raids only work with 10 people might be too much for the current team they...

    Napoleon (2023)

Maybe I wont be watching this after all. It sounds like the history is bad and the story is chopped up too much to be interesting, so all that's left is the spectacle. If I liked spectacle only movies, I'd probably start with Avatar 2.

Wonder how far along they are on that. The ability to line up a shade, way out in front of telescope so perfectly, that it blocks the star light, but not the light reflected from the planets seems unreal.

The official term is called "dowsing" for water. The professional scammers also don't use coat hanger and instead mock up something that looks more believable. The professional magician James Randi tested a great many of these people. In one of the tests, for an Italian TV show, he had 30-40...

World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery

I used both the two week IS Boxer trial and AHK with 1 month of a RAF account, right before they changed it from granting the huge XP boosts (Legion I think). It's been a while now, so I don't remember exactly how I had it set up, but I think it was mostly tank on box 1, healer on box 2 and then...

World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery

Did they change the rules/enforcement? AFAIK boxing is allowed, but botting/automation is not. The rule they enforce is one key press for one ability. As in the key presses can all be on one "box" but you can't run software that make, say, 3 abilities trigger from one key press.

What We Do in the Shadows

When I have tried to rewatch TV shows, comedies seem to suffer the most when you already know what's coming. Even for shows I love, like Entourage, Curb, or Silicon Valley, I'm never able to get in the mood to rewatch. Which is in stark contrast to dramas, where I have watched shows like The...

I played both at launch and while there were certainly a bunch of bugs I ran into, none of them were game breaking, where I couldn't continue (or at least I was able to fix the issue with save editing, or something). Close enough, probably. The recommendations for playing a mage with maximum dialog choices are 18 Wis, 17 Int, 13 Cha. Going to level 6 on warrior before switching to mage gets you enough HP that you should be fine for the rest of the game, but you probably want to make sure you don't hit level...

    Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

Be aware, this game can be played as both turn based and real time w/ pause. I like turn based for most of it, but it's nice to leave it on real time for easy fights. That said, it's hard to say how much you will like this game compared to BG3 as this game is much more complicated and combat...

It could have fit with the show, up until last episode at least... Since up until that point it was shown that the older Viltrumites seemed far more powerful than Mark, where maybe it takes 100+ years of using their powers to achieve peak performance. Now they could still do it, the non-woke...

Depends on which facts he took liberty with. Since this is about events we have a wealth of data on, I was hoping it would be much more accurate than Gladiator, which was pretty much historical fiction, like Master and Commander or Downton Abby.
