Water Magician just made my day. I know he had a really rough life and just wanted peace and quiet in this life, so the library made sense. Him showing up at the end was awesome.
i really liked it but the whole him being oblivions to all the chicks simping on him is over the top. Especially when the premise of him leaving his parents house is to find a wife. Other than that it was right up my alley. Old guy that is better than he thinks etc.
The woman opposite Bana for the investigation is honestly one of the worst actors I've ever seen. I'm only one episode in though, maybe she has a redemption arc.
Freiren is a crap shoot to recommend. I recommended it to 2 people i thought it was a slam duck for and they hated it. One guy i thought would hate it loved it. Maybe it just doesn't fit usual recommendation norms.
Many of the good ones require setup and characters that have development arcs. Mushoku Tensei is a really good one if you can get past him being a perv in the first episodes. It's the beginning of his character arc. Goblin Slayer is one of my favorites if i just want a straightforward...

I had quite a bit more fun this time than last. Everything ran significantly smoother, my character had less lag, and the mob density was fine. Things i had issues with. Playing a monk i was limited to leather armor... mostly. It also also seemed to indicate in the class description...
