Figured I would tackle the Adamantoise while I was waiting for FFXIV to patch. It was horrible. With the exception of a pretty cool mini cutscene, the fight was long, boring, and frustrating. I should just stop playing the postgame content because it's ruining my love for the game.

You don't need to reroll to get started in this game. Sure it helps but I began my BE account with no units of note except a 3* Anzelm back in September, and now I've got a full roster of 6* heroes (including a base 5*) and can do almost all of the content in the game, and that's playing casually.

Can't go wrong with DEX/FTH for PvE. Get yourself some solid armor (like the Fallen Knight armor from the Crucifixion Woods), a decent shield, and then a Longsword or Astora Straight Sword with a couple miracles like Great Heal and Lightning Spear. You only need to pump FTH to 25 but you can go...
