    Dark Souls 3

I'm trying really hard to bring myself to beat Bloodborne, and I can't. The game is just so unsatisfying for me compared to DS1/DS2. I think part of the problem stems from the fact that the TV I play my PS4 on is at an awful height. (I played DS1 and DS2 on PC.) When I sit down, it's too high...

I'm doing about 1250 on a dummy as MNK in i189 with my i200 weapon, no food or pots. I really need to do a food + pots parse, though. And melee classes can't really parse longer than 3 minutes because we run out of TP. NIN and MNK both get TP starved at almost exactly 3 minutes.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Not if you want to get into Savage. With i190 weapon and full i180, you should be doing at least 1050 on a dummy.

There's a lot of tricks in Savage A1 for increasing DPS that weren't immediately apparent to me. The biggest one is when the adds pop. In Normie A1, you just pull the adds under the markers and kill them, but you can't do that in Savage, because a shot duration after adds spawn, Resin Bombs and...

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Our old DRG was doing 1050 on the dummy, our new one does just over 1200. In actual combat, our old DRG would drop to around 780, and the new one is just under 1k.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Finally cleared A1 Savage tonight. I kicked my old DRG and got a new one who does about 200 more DPS, and our main PLD had to miss tonight so we got a sub who was doing about 50 more DPS. We were able to easily clear enrage with that boost. Pics in the spoiler below. Both the bosses died...

This. If it's not fun for you, just take off and play some other games until the next patch. Not many good MMOs on the market right now, but there's lots of other non-MMO games atm.

    Final Fantasy XV (PS4 / XB1 / PC)

We're called "Final Fanboys," and I think based on what I've seen in the demo, it's going in the right direction. Combat feels FANTASTIC. Fluid weapon swapping, warping, dodging, riposting, and team attacks are great. Lock-on and changing abilities with the directional buttons seemed a bit...

    Final Fantasy XV (PS4 / XB1 / PC)

Square Enix wanted to make an action-combat Final Fantasy game but realized that they had no idea how to do that. That's why it's been redone so many times. It's taken them ten years, but they've finally figured it out.

100%-Split: WHM solo heals, SCH DPSes. Missiles - Adds: WHM heals tanks and hits everyone with Medica II right before adds pop up, SCH is healing and DPSing Adds Spawn -> Resin Bombs -> Column AoEs: Healers are focusing on dodging and keeping tanks up. The pre-cast Medica II and fairy are...

They're my favorite part of the game tbh. With the exception of Ramuh and Bismark, I like them more than almost all of the raids.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

I disagree with this. Leveling crafting classes is AIDS. Leves are the only thing that make it bearable (since crafting collectables don't give much EXP). Agree with all of these. I feel like they're useful if you're leveling up classes after your main class. As a CUL, I completely disagree with...

Having better gear will only slightly widen the window of perfection required, anyways. Most people still won't be able to clear it. (Only 5-10% of players on any NA/EU server were able to clear FCoB, even with 15% Echo.)
  19. Kriptini

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

That is EXACTLY what FFXIV raiding is, though. You have to be able to handle mechanics perfectly while also maintaining the most DPS you possible can (tanks and healers included) or you just won't clear. These fights are very tightly tuned. Even with the weapons, there are still going to be a...

That version of Twister still isn't hard. I'll give you that I overestimated T2. Regardless, everything else I said still stands.
  21. Kriptini

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Uh, that mechanic was only difficult because of the lag from the launch of the game. Once it was fixed, Twisters became much easier. You can't say fights like T9, T2 (non-enrage), and savage T8 don't have hard mechanics. Also, the ENTIRETY of FCoB was an execution challenge. T12 and...

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Getting befter gear will only help people meet the enrage. The mechanics of the bosses are still quite difficult. You could take eight random level 60s into T9 (a level 50 raid) and they probably wouldn't be able to clear it.

    Archeage

For the sake of the only good PvP that game had, of course. When everyone has access to everything, there's no more race, and there isn't even competition anymore. People will only do things for the sake of them being fun. So you get a guild together and have a west chapter and east chapter...

No shitty Trion cash shop, RNG abuse is expected and encouraged (if not outright spawning your own items) so everyone is on an even playing field. No labor points (not that you would need them anyways, but that depends on how you want to play). Because EVERYONE will have access to the same...

There's a workaround for it. Send a recruit a friend email to yourself, then give the code to someone else. The code only works once, but it doesn't care which email is used to sign up with it.
