yeah that makes sense. problem with a season long narrative based on assuming one thing and the other thing happens is that shit episode we got

episode felt flat. They clearly made 2 versions depending on who won the election but that was only about 90 seconds worth of clips that they were swapping in and out, to fit into their narrative. These season long story lines are shit.

Early on housing sucks. You have granary and aqueducts but after that all you can do is build more farms, which increases food and thus speeds up your pop growth making you need more housing. Theres a few random bonuses you can get from civics, as well as religious and leader specific bonuses...

was season 3 a different production studio than the first 2? seems like first 2 seasons were BBC or Sky or whatever in UK, and 3rd was netflix? can tell the production values drop off a bit for the 3rd season. Also the writing and stories from season 3 are just weaker than the first 2 seasons.
