I'm planning on buying Jaws for a buddy, a strategic move so I can get him and his D+D playing son going on it. I'll check out Keys, thanks!

Yeah, I love Gloomhaven. I really need a lighter dungeon crawl for the family. Right now Arcadia quest is as close as we get.

Starting the last day for the Massive Darkness campaign. I was tempted early and I was an all in on the first campaign. Now I'm considering just throwing the lot to free up shelve space. I know I could sell it for something but the time and effort just doesn't seem worth it. If I did go in...

    Post Your Pet

My 2 year old red setter. I posted a picture of him earlier in the thread when he was 8 weeks old. He's a bit of a freak. He is just like my old dog except instead of being the most dominate dog around he is the most submissive. Not scared, just doesn't want anything to do with other dogs...

The funny part is I actually agreed with you, then they made the natives just as ruthless as the locals. The thing that bothered me most was a white nationalist storyline. It's just overdone and boring at this point.

I'm in Minnesota but not in Minneapolis, I'm in a second ring suburb. Yeah, he's the loan guy for the bank and we will go to a title company for closing. Thanks, I'll watch for interest fuckery. I'll check Zillow as well. I have a pretty good idea on price because our identical place is...

I'm kind of in a weird place. We have been renting a townhome for a few years because we had planned on moving out of state. Our landlord just asked us if we want to buy it because he wants out of the rental business. He is asking a fair price and we have lived here long enough to know of all...

    Yellowstone

Resurrecting this since I just started and got caught up. It's really a pretty perfect show to watch with the wife. Enough violence/comedy for me and enough drama for her. Yeah on the calving part. I've pulled enough to know how stupid that was. Also the guy that can barely ride is an...

I'm not sure why this one is tempting me. Maybe it's because i feel like i could talk my wife into playing it. I'm pretty sure I'll wait for the last day and spend an hour or two seeing if it's for me then.

    The Old Guard (2020)

Yeah, the basics like vests would make sense. It would have made sense for one or more of them to keep journals. Maybe not right after becoming immortal but eventually and essentially. It was already pretty clear that memory faded and there was real loss in that. As an aside I think if I...

    Warrior Nun

This is just a worse Buffy with an actress that looks like Emilia Clarkes younger sister. Needs so much more violence it isn't funny. The first rule of action shows is to have action, the second is to be witty. This fails on both.

I'm the opposite. Gimme 95 and humid every day. N the only reason I live in the north is because I like -10 as well and my wife hates humidity. Basically any time the weather drives people inside I'm in heaven.

What's your craziest sexual experience thread?

I've only had two things happen i thought were crazy/weird. I mean, we all have sex stories and toys...sure whatever but crazy stuff? My first sexual encounter was when i was in high school. It was normal fingering stuff and i had no clue it was unusual till many years later. I put my...

    Principalities and Powers

This is a classic example of how people get drawn into conspiracies. There is a lot of truth in this mixed with lies and outright fantasy. The most obvious lie is anything having to do with Trump and that is probably the point of this whole post. He was around Epstein for less than a year...

Since most of us are far past this point in our lives this might not be the best place for this but here goes. My youngest son hates debt, he always has. The idea of owing anybody anything drives him nuts. Unfortunately for him this isn't always possible without great sacrifice. He's 25...

The Paranormal, UFO's, and Mysteries of the Unknown

There is lots of evidence for neadrethals being pretty advanced in some aspects. They had abstract art, assembly line like production etc. There is no evidence that I am aware of that they were ancient builders, but it wouldn't surprise me. They definitely weren't brutish thugs.

It's pretty undeniable that the people currently in Egypt aren't the same as the ones that built the pyramids. There is plenty of evidence for equally astounding civilizations older than them, they just didn't build huge shit.

We do know for sure that what you do can affect both your development and in larger context can affect populations. Archers in the middle ages, we know this from skeletons, had one shorter arm than the other. In a larger context, Rome fought in so many wars for such a long time that the...
