Had that happen on the day a home inspector showed up when I was selling a house. Phoenix? I'm gonna guess it was a flat roof over the garage.

Get some canvas drop cloths. The long runner type are especially handy to lay along the base of the wall you’re painting. You’ll use them some other day to make walkways to rooms for other projects. Don’t use plastic drop cloths. They’re non-absorbing and slippery. Buy quality brushes and take...

If I'm lazy, I'll use their pre-packaged doses, but I've reversed engineered what's in those packages so I've bought their oil, some popcorn salt and use Orville's corn to make a batch. I cook over a camp stove because I don't want to scratch my glass cooktop.

I just finished sprucing this up. Not a restoration, just a big clean-up. Rebuilt the top end (lapped valves, honed cylinder) painted front fork and fender, rebuilt carb., new cables, sealed a leaky gas tank and generally just got a lot of dirt off. Runs great and it's just about the most fun...

    Men's Bar Soap for Showering

For me, it's all about the fragrances. Vegan or not, the stuff just smells manly and lathers well. You feel clean and strong when you're done showering. His shave soaps are also some of the best I have, and I have a lot. A splash of some Bay Rum, Old Spice or Clubman Reserve aftershave and I'm...

I did some reading on the subject and I thought it would be better to use a soft net rather than my hands. I kept the little guy in the water and my wife was getting ready to retrieve the hook when it popped out of his mouth, so we never had to touch him at all. I know it won't always be that...

We covered this once before a few years ago. Put a few tbsp. of oil down the drain. It will float on the water in the trap and prevent it from evaporating.

You could try, over a long period of time and using a walk-behind spreader, to add small amounts of soil or sand to your existing lawn. Lightly raking it after will knock the soil off the peaks and fill the valleys. You have to do this many times. It's a slow process and can take months.

I have a mesh jacket for when it's really hot. It doesn't offer all the protection a full jacket offers but it does have elbow, shoulder and back pads. The great thing about it is that it lets air pass through it and in low humidity conditions like in AZ, you can wear a vest under it that has...

I've done both metal and vinyl gutter installations on my homes over the years. Neither is as good as you will get by having a seamless guy come out and do it. So this might sound a little silly, but here goes. When my wife and I go camping sometimes we fish a stream or river just to use up time. We would release anything we caught. I say would because we've never caught anything. We are incompetent noobs. We have a collapsible rod. It needs to be...

Who do you pay the fine to? Because I'm not so sure those guys have the authority to enforce that ticket. That parking lot is private property and those guys are private security. If you don't pay there may be fuck all they can do about it. Then again, I might be wrong.

What were you expecting it to do? A good sealer, properly and consistently applied (yes, it won't last forever) will keep most liquids from penetrating the surface of the stone or grout. It will not prevent dirt, soap scum or hard water deposits from forming on the surface. If the grout darkens...
