They're old school grid-based map turn-based party RPGs like Wizardry. You map the levels yourself with the stylus and such. They're grindy but I find them fun.

One season in there is a very stark contrast on Katie. She went 6-7/whatever seasons without fucking herself up, then BAM SxE1 her face is all gross. Perhaps since then it has improved some somehow, but I haven't watched since whatever that season was.

I don't see any way they could do the actual books (which would be amazing) without recasting Luke, Leia and Han. So my guess is unless they're going to embrace the uncanny valley CGI shit they did with Luke in Mandalorian, it's Heir to the Empire in name only.
