I actually found Legends of Norrath enjoyable as its own game, if hideous. If they had stuck to their initial vision of the booster packs dropping in-game and it not just being a "buy until you find a Reusable Mana Refill Potion to break game mechanics" cash shop I might have continued enjoying it.

Amusingly enough, eventually it became the only starting stat that mattered, since everything else was just naturally capped by gear, and your Charisma increased the proc rate of those stupid cleric "death save" effects. Not a big effect, but hey~

Also, when you keep Whim'ing an opponent's Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth during their upkeep to disable Cabal Coffers, they get salty :D

It and Mystic Speculation are just extremely cheap buy-back spells for all of the "When you cast an instant or sorcery..." effects. Baral gets both of them down to 2 mana, so you're just looking for a Cloud Key or Sapphire Medallion to reach Maximum Cheap. Metallurgic Summonings-esque effects...

I've been having a bunch of fun with Baral too. A lot of confused faces at the table the first time I cast Whim of Volrath.

It's because your skill is too low to gather the actual full herb. Once your skill is higher you get whole pieces.

Overperformers: -Fourth Bridge Prowler (So many X/1s, and coming down after combat to kill bigger things after they've absorbed an attack (or before combat to reduce their defending power enough to safely swing with a fatty). Also cast it several times to murder itself for Revolt triggers.)...

Most amusing part about Bard was people bitching about 'carpal tunnel' from having to push a different button every 2 seconds. Fast forward to this generation, and people are whining hard when they AREN'T mashing a damage button every second or less.

I like Dialogue and Story when it is well thought out and doesn't just exist to give you a reason to grab 4 bear asses because we needed 50 quests in this zone to make sure your character leveled 5 times so that they can move onto the next zone where the quest dialog will exist to tell you why...

There was a toggle in the menu under graphics named "Run Like Shit", all you guys had to do was un-check it!
