Not sure why you guys always quote the estimated time for queues, they're way off. My 1880 person queue just took 1.5 hours, enough for me to watch a couple episodes of House and cool off after a day outside.
There's no such thing as a 6 hour queue. 2 hours tops probably.
Am I wrong in thinking that Ancestral and Rebirth wouldn't double up resulting in two copies of the card? They both say that particular minion comes back into play, not that a new copy is created. I can't imagine they'd interact like some of you are assuming they will.
No, you're an idiot who apparently completely missed my point. You refute race being anything more than a social construct, because if it WERE more, cross-race breeding would create near exact duplicates of ONE race or the OTHER. So by that same logic, height is only a social construct.
Wut?
Lol. You scientists in this thread are really blowing my mind.
Mist, I'm sure when a 6' man and a 5' woman mate, their child is either exactly 6' or 5' when reaching full growth, right?
Zxyxyxyzyxyzxyxyzxyx, humans share 97%+ of their DNA with many other mammals. Tell me more about how...
So, you think acknowledging truths about how we (the races) are fundamentally incompatible with regard toliving in the same home, all while expressing zero hatred for and wishing no harm upon said other races, is literally the most "racist" (again, look up the origin of this term) thing you've...
That would have been great back when it was possible, like when the founding father type people and/or Lincoln were considering it as a viable solution. But we're well past that point. I would, though, absolutely love to see us split up along racial linesamicablybefore we self-destruct along...
Oh, and the follow up is yes I'm aware that causes issues when you have a mixed-race society, and the answer is to STOP FUCKING DOING THAT. Seriously, this ridiculous notion that mixing races within homelands/societies is a good idea is fucking absurd. It (race) is literally the uppermost tier...
How about, just be a human, and accept that making decisions based onanythingis your natural right as a human, and making decisions based on race isperfectly valid, because -- GASP -- the races are fucking different on a biological level.
Some (most?) of you should look up the origin of the...
But of course. Even someone with just the tiniest bit of color, like 1/32 black, can claim they're black as long as it's visible, when in reality they're just no race at all (a modern hybrid), or if they need to be called one of their parent races, it should obviously be white, where the other...
So, I'm trying to reserve my name that I have a character using on the Beta server, and it says "name not allowed." Awesome? How the fuck does that happen?
Or, they could be planning a proper MMO design philosophy without content obsoletion, allowing the scrubs to defeat raid content later in the cycle via extra progression allowed by patches/expansions.
Holy shit some of you have terrible reading comprehension. He's not saying it requires no skill, he's sayingthe skill wall is relatively low for a CCG, which it is, and that it causes pros to be in the same boat with many more people than similar games.
Damn, thanks for the Coolstuffinc tip. I've been using my FLGS to get stuff for good prices since I know the guy, but he's been out of Pathfinder for a long time. Just got all the Pathfinder shit for a great price (near what I'd get from him) and free shipping. Score.
Yeah Settlers of Catan is definitely a good choice, but only if people are on board with a FFA type of game. It's often a good idea to evaluate what your group would enjoy playing, whether it be FFA, Teams, One-v-Many, or full Co-op.
No campaign play, and I can't imagine it would be possible. You advance/progress way too much within a single quest for that to ever work in current design.
That said, you could always take the same party through multiple quests once they have them available, just to see if your party could...
Went back through the thread to find a suggestion (couldn't find it) someone had posted about the best way to use the Infernal Pit or whatever, something about adding every card to a single deck? But I tried to do this and everything poofed when I hit 209 cards, and I couldn't add anything else...
Uh, gear checks are only marginalized when the encounters have execution-checks that trump them. Which WoW has in spades.
Honestly I yearn for the old days of EQ style minimal (or no) script shit where you just threw shit at it until it fell over, and if you wanted to bring more than X...
Yes, I would say the psychological issue of knowing that it's a much slower form of leveling is a large impediment to the fun. Not a complaint that it's slow, but just the knowledge that it's not the intended way to level, and is a sub-par form just sucks.
Honestly if you're a person who can...
I would gladly level via slaughtering monsters if the game(s) was designed for that. Unfortunately it's not, and trying it tends to be an exercise in frustration.
I'll get over it. The game has enough to lure me back to an MMO for a few months.
I've been wondering about Eldritch. Love me some co-op games.
Anyone have experience with the Pathfinder co-op card game? I'm having a blast with the Descent co-op module FFG just released, as well as their LotR LCG.
CO-OP!
In my opinion, the primary drawback is exact knowledge of stats and their relation to increases in ____ value. This game, and others that allow this (most every MMO nowadays) just boils down to a mathematical formula to decide which gear is best, and if you're not getting that, you're not having...
