So I was in freeroam and got a 2min warning that server was shutting down so thought "Cool maybe they'll patch some bugs out". Logged out of the game then turned on an anthem streamer to see if htey had more info on why servers were going down.. They were still playing. So the freeroam instances...

So is it just me or are quickplays also fucking broke as shit (no surprise tbh)? Join a "mission" quick play only to zone into a bunch of people standing around, it shows a mission but doesnt appear to even be active. Then everyone has to leave. And then usually the "quit expedition" option...

Pretty easy to get back in. On Zelara (bonus xp server) seeing a LOT of new players and leveling to 60 is pretty quick.

Don't forget you can upgrade rares. Is challenge rift a thing on switch? do that for some starting mats then go for nats xbow/dawn. If you get a nats xbow and already have one set convert it to something you dont have. Or join a public game and get a bunched of hacked items because console!

Hopefully they learned their lesson about bullet sponges. They eventually did in D1 but by then they lost a huge % of their player base. I stil log in to check it out from time to time and always enjoy it.
