This. After I stopped playing EQ I went back and tried DAOC and rolled a Friar on Galahad. Some of best MMO gaming ever. Super evade and could sprint for years.

Yeah I'm a huge fan of Alb classes. While baseline stun was always nice on hib give me movement speed any day. Sorc is like the best of everything rolled into one if you like casters. Mentalist is close for hib but no lifetap for the lulz and no movement speed. Think bard only aoe mez hibs get...

Went back to bard since I was able to start snagging groups. Up to 24!

Ended up switching to a Mentalist (Brewchop). Bard leveling was killing me.

PSVR came in, gotta say i'm really enjoying it even though the display is pretty low res. Moss, Astrobot, Beat Saber and Wipeout are tits. Did a little blood rush and could feel my body want to react to the roller coaster when it was climbing etc..

Wonder how much longer TVs will continue to be a thing with the advancements in VR. Once VR displays get high enough quality why bother with a TV and the room it takes up when you can just pop on a headset.

If you were going to upgrade monitors at the same time you'd probably want to go 1440p not 1080 which is where the 2060 looks to be targeted. Go for a card that will do 1440p, its a really nice upgrade from 1080.

I got some David Archy for xmas. Very different from the normal boxer briefs but teh gents were on point. Very comfortable.

Fortifications still seem pretty rippy. Love all the shit that can snipe me off screen. THought they were supposed to be fixing that.

Lacerate is actually the build i'm running. Pretty fun so far. The 'pop" haemophila make when something explodes is also super satisfying.

Got a melee kinda going. God damn is it much harder to do than a caster.

So did a consecrated path up to 73 yesterday. Jesus fuck that skill against syndicate, being in close is no bueno. Not sure why but melee builds always feel week as hell to me compared to pretty much any of the caster builds i've ever done.
