Why are the fans booing so hard? That was clearly a forward pass even live. Idiots.

Sleeper fact...Pitt's D has not been good 2nd half of the year. Jax can move the ball/put up points today.

Was just about to post this. Frankly their real issue is after trading Benjamin their only major playmakers are McCaffery and Olsen (when healthy). Funchess had chances to make big catches in that game last week to win it and didn't deliver. Cam actually played pretty well.

eh, Jersey has 2 games in hand (would be 1 point behind if they won those) and columbus keeps winning (thanks Toronto blowing a 2-0 lead against them with under 5 minutes to go the other night). Also if you believe fancy stat guys, we're overperforming our "expected goals for/against" by more...

I mean, either can work. Look at how many sacks/hits/knockdowns Denver had against him couple years ago. I've never seen a QB get hit that much in a game before.

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

This is sorta true, but the 49ers line (while not great on the inside, tackles are pretty good though) consistently was ranking among the middle 10 (11th-20th) in pass protection while Seattle's line has been bottom 5 for a couple years now.

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

Wilson can't afford to play from the pocket because Seattle's O line has been terrible in pass protection. They need to find some good picks in the middle rounds that stay cheap for a couple of years to protect him.

I know they would have gotten in if Ravens had won to finish 10-6, Tennessee had lost to finish 8-8...then it wouldn't matter what Buffalo did with Chargers win, b/c they had head to head tiebreaker over Buffalo.

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

Yeah Chargers were just big losers in any multi way tiebreaker because of conference record I think?

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

considering there were two 13 win teams in NFC this year, along with three 11 win teams...and it's completely not boring or one sided, not sure this always holds up. In practice there wasn't a 10 win team that missed the playoffs in NFC, but that's only because there was three 9-7 teams (and...

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

I actually think the "better conference" only shifted to the NFC very recently. As others have mentioned, there hasn't been solid "contenders" for the last 5-10 years like there have been in the AFC over in the NFC. Ambi is right that while the Packers have almost always been in the playoffs...

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

Ravens haven't really been relevant since they won the SB in 2012. Only 1 playoff appearance since, although they did give the Pats all they could handle in divisional round...but the Pats won, and they haven't been heard from since. Colts with Luck were honestly never a threat to Patriots or...

Wish this was lined up for NFC Championship game...although Falcons have the experience too. If Wentz hadn't gone down, NFC playoffs would just be unreal.

Funny thing is Jax beat Steelers earlier in the year. But they need to look better on offense to have any shot in Pittsburgh this time around I think.

Yeah Rick looks like he wants to choke Parker out sometimes. I will say I think Parker is right to try to avoid having to haul so much pay dirt around, better to just move the wash plant. But to half ass the setup of the wash plant was just silly. That said when they're getting 200+ ounces...

Yeah but without Dave there, I care a lot less about his crew. It's not like they're doing bad this season, and seems like they have hopes with that ruling to open up more ground to have a good season..just not 5k ounces or anywhere near what Parker is going to get.

Well...I like Dorff, and it sounds like they're trying to go back to what worked in S1 with the different time periods laying out a crime that goes unsolved for a long time. Ozarks not exactly same atmosphere but they could work with it.

GoT - Is Over, Post Your Drogon Sightings

The 6 were supposed to be longer total than the 7 from last season though, right? Or at least some are longer than average. Still, I have a hard time seeing everything get wrapped up in 6 episodes. Cleganebowl, revealing Jon's lineage, fight with WW/NK. Inevitable fight with Cersei after...

It's weird to say...b/c his first bad game was against the Skins when our D looked like world beaters for all of one week. Had 5 TD's and 0 picks the first 2 weeks, Another TD and over 100 passer rating in the Denver game before he got hurt. So really 1 bad game before the injury, and 2.5...

NFL 2017-18: Watch athletes destroy their brains

If they just called the hold in the end zone on 4th and goal same thing would be true. Or just Rahim Moore not letting Jones get behind him for a 65 yard TD with under a minute to go in the divisional round against Denver. But that all happened, he got that contract, and the rest is history.

Flacco didn't really turn into Montana. He had some good fortune along the way, and played really well against the Patriots in the AFC championship game (mainly 2nd half) and looked very good in the 1st half of the Super Bowl. A lot of good fortune against Denver, couple dropped picks in the...
