    Ghostbusters (2016)

The last movie I saw was Green Room. It has Anton Yelchin it and was written/directed by Jeremy Saulnier. He also did Blue Ruin from 2013 that was pretty good. Green Room was also pretty good. I only really knew about either because the guys at Red Letter Media occasionally do a video where they...

    Ghostbusters (2016)

One of the things that I find unfortunate about modern film making is that making money isn't enough for the studios anymore. They want to makecrazymoney AND have a franchise on their hands. They don't want to just make a Ghostbusters film that people like and is financially successful. They...

If it's better than people were expecting that's fine with me and it makes the actions of the studio even more ridiculous. If any of the reviewers I care about give it anything along the lines of "eh, it was alright" or better I'll go catch a matinee.

There's a review embargo so the only reviews you are seeing are from people who were given permission. Even if there wasn't a bit of a selection process from the studios the people with that privilege have an incentive to make positive reviews. Having early access and being first to critique a...

I'm still not against seeing it but shit like those RT reviews keeps me away. That site used to be decent and now their first week reviews of a major release are all obviously cherry-picked? C'mon.

Everyone I know that plays those formats uses proxies. Putting a deck together takes time so there's no reason to not proxy up what you want to build and start playing with it the first afternoon. WotC says proxies are a no-go and doesn't even want stores running events in which they are allowed.

I didn't say Legacy is dead. I said in a few years Legacy would be dead. The long term plan by WotC is to just let you all live on your own little island forever with minimal support and wait for Modern to take it's place. For black swans you've got a breakthrough in counterfeit card quality, a...

Dear Hasbro, I enjoy one of your products a great deal and while I understand you are a game and toy company a big part of my enjoyment of this product comes from other people being kept away and a big part of my self-identity is tied to being on the inside of this exclusion rather than the...

There's definitely some stinkers in his IMDB but I like Bachelor Party, The Money Pit, Dragnet, Big, The 'Burbs, and A League of Their Own all just fine for his early comedy rolls. I think I saw Joe vs the Volcano one time and can only remember a single scene from it. Probably was bad.

There was definitely a very weird period where WotC ruled that if a card was marked without sleeves than it was marked with sleeves. That was a stupid couple of months with jerkasses thinking it was cute to get people to de-sleeve. Once everyone was on board with opaque sleeves and that ruling...

I'm surprised she's in a regular Standard legal set and not some other product. WotC doesn't print cards that efficiently interfere with your opponent's resources hardly ever anymore. 10/10 would rare draft every time.
