The real big issue is that you can no longer enter melee range to tank for your pet. With that no longer working pets are going to die a lot more until people get better at aggro manageament.

Paladins are fine in Classic. They are good and groups and you can use them to tank anything on raids. In Kunark they are good in groups and do absolutely nothing on raids. Maybe you use Lay on Hands at a good time. That's it.

I think that got changed at some point but I'm not 100%. I know I made an Erudite something and it didn't punish me for having 70 agility and I definitely remember always having to jack my Agility to 75 because otherwise you had 1 AC at level 1 and got wrecked by snakes.

Troll and Iksar regen scales with level. The best part about being an Iksar SK though is that you get Origin : Cabilis during Kunark. With it and a Worker Sledge Mallet you can actually get around that expansion decently on your own as a melee character.
