Just want to rant quickly, the guild system in this game was interesting but is turning out to be really annoying. I like the idea of progressing as a guild and earning some income that can be used to great effect, but the contract system is a complete waste. People get some ~30k a day from the...
So we're talking 24 for 2016 and maybe 32 in the next few years? I remember when X-Wing Alliance had hundreds of ships in one area. In 1999. I understand that SC is targeting a different experience and that the server load in it is very different than X-Wing Alliance, but when EVE can...
The idea of being in an inflated habitat seems frightening. Now if there's a pressurization leak you won't only be suffocated but will be squeezed to death as well. Or something.
For some reason Daum made the game as difficult for their servers as possible by encouraging people to be logged in 100% of the time AFK. That combines with their encouragement of every player having some 10+ workers running around the map.
Fortunately server stability seems pretty high.
Save your money and buy a ghillie suit instead. Expect to drop another $20 on buying pets to pick up your loot, and then another few bucks to buy bank expansions / strength increases. Luckily you don't need to continue to p2w after that.
I haven't seen any bots or hackers. Like Sabbat says wealth is totally illiquid. I'm sure some players are making macro's / bots, but that's for personal gain rather than a gold farming operation.
I have to imagine that map hacks exist in this game. With the ghillie suit it'd be very useful...
This is a dead horse in Dark Souls but I got annoyed with the graffiti and think getting coop help for bosses is like getting help from your wallet to help your sex life by buying hookers.
The PvP mechanic is kind of fun and interesting, but PvP in Dark Souls lame in general. I found...
If I moved this into Other Games someone would probably not look for it and make a new game here.
What's funny is the number of traditional MMO guilds who are really looking forward to playing SC competitively. Nobody knows how SC's online gaming will play out, but one thing that seems firm...
Yeah not going to sit through 6 more episodes of this bullshit. I'd rather just watch a Trump, Cruz and Hillary rally for my demagoguery, political backstabbing and conniving bitch fix.
Could be bullshit but leaked info is blaming MS xbox controllers. Note that an oculus representative denied it.
This is what went wrong with the launch - insider confession : oculus
I swear they turned Robin Wright's character into a stupid blonde who stares blanky into the distance everytime someone informs her that she is a moron.
First episode sucked donkey dicks. Yeah, like I want to watch the POTUS chasing his wife all around like a bitch while she acts retarded in front of a congresswoman and then cries about cancer. That's exactly how I want to spend my time. This episode had about as much political intrigue as...
I just ignored the whole thing and ended DS2 with like a hundred effigies and spent most of the time at 75% life. It was just a stupid addition IMO.
I played both.
Looks very cool. It's too bad dyes are so expensive in this game. Otherwise we could redo the GW2 guild screenshot in our traditional red and white uniforms!
Some how I care less this season, but what do you guys want to do about the spoiler threads? Just close one of them and have one thread with all unaired spoilers in tags? Keep the two threads? Make a third thread?
no spoilers plz, I loved season 1/2 and I thought season 3 was a disaster because of how badly they screwed Robin Wright's character up. Should I even bother with season 4?
So the big complaints I had after beating DS2:
. Didn't like the environments, it just seemed like one shit hole after the other instead of grandiose and incredible landscapes like they were in DS1
. Thought the game got very formulaic
. Most of the engagements were more irritating than...
I ordered 6m after start, April 28th to May 5th or something. So a month delay I guess.
People are flipping their shit, but I don't really care. It'll come when it comes.
Hmm, I wonder if that's more nuanced than it sounds. From that it sounds like, "Yeah even the things that pratically blow up won't have to be replaced for 10 missions at least.", with the suggestion that much of the rocket can be used indefinitely.
We did the tree boss 3x last night. It's really hard to avoid his attacks. His attack animations look like someone shaking a tree and every once in a while a branch falls off.
He also does this slam attack where he has this prolonged pre-attack animation, then attacks in a random direction...
The three boosters land independently??? That's awesome.
Have they ever said why they don't use a parachute at all? It just seems like it'd add so much stability and wouldn't weigh much.
I'd try to do both equally. Get your gear up to a decent level at 50 with whatever methods you have, then move to Mediah and level there. The wealth you generate at Sausan's and Elric's is pretty good.
