I'll be the first to admit EQOA's graphics were pretty bad. But you can't tell me shit about it not being fun as hell controlling your character thru those long grinds with a controller vs a mouse while sitting in front of a big screen.

That crash has been in since beta. They never fixed it like most of the bugs.

I'm fairly certain the PS2 had some pretty bad technical limitations and what they created is still in a lot of ways better than what passes for an MMO these days.

I almost did it. I broke down and redownloaded the game. Installed it and found I'm still preferred status. I logged in and my first 5 interactions all led me to the store. Logged off and uninstalled. I mean ffs, just to complete a quest with all reward options you have to visit the damn store...

Contested content is an issue if it's a means of progression. Otherwise, it's all good.

I guess I should be more clear. In prior versions you only got 1 chance to capture certain rares. Without having to import a bunch of Pokemon from prior versions are all Pokemon possible to get if you only have x and y version? Hope that's clearer.

I only ever saw those commercials online. SOE marketing was pretty poor. And they scrapped a 3rd expansion when it was 90% complete. I really do wonder what goes on in those company discussions sometimes. It's like they try to fail.

It wasn't popular at first but with the smaller versions of the PS2 they came with built in Ethernet ports around the time SOCOM was coming out.

Depends. A spellbinder Enchanter would want high CHA and more STA to take hits from mobs they were charming. An animator Enchanter would want INT and STA. If the animator put too many points into CHA, he could gimp himself if he didn't know. But the tooltips told you what each stat did so...not...
