Who here has an Instant Pot? I've been using a slow cooker previously but the long ass cooking times is really inconvenient. Also, I hate cooking with the passion of a thousand suns so I was looking for something that is quick and simple.
So, I tried cooking a frozen chicken breast and I...
Honestly, I've quite enjoyed the direction Fear has taken. They have a good cast now with Lennie James and Dillahunt joining.
Ratings decline is probably due to fatigue with the main series, rather than specifically Fear. Just my guess.
If Netflix wants a GoT, you know what they should do? A live action adaptation of the Dragonlance Chronicles. Huge fan base plus tons of material to draw off of for years to come.
We have a Russian fellow as one of our devs, been with the company for probably 15 years. Same title as the day he started. I think he just wants to code and be left alone.
Yeah, I think game development isn't all it's cracked up to be. In fact, sounds like a really punishing career -- tight deadlines and potentially super long hours. You better freakin' love coding if you want to go down that road.
For my college courses we worked backwards from high level to low. Java -> C++ -> assembly. I felt like that was a good path they took us on rather than doing it in reverse.
If he hasn't done any programming before I would suggest NOT to do C++. That shit is awful and will likely discourage someone new to programming from pursuing coding as a profession or hobby.
However, although not free, Udemy has great courses and can be typically purchased for ~$10 when on...
I've seen a few YouTube developer commentators admit to dumping their Mac and moving back to a PC.
The only way I would even consider a Mac is if I could build my own. That's not really an option so screw 'em.
Started watching this after seeing this thread. Really loving it. The scene where he stops short of punching Genos, and the accompanying gale force winds was fucking great.
If anyone likes ridiculously over-powered heroes, then you'll enjoy this.
I didn't get a chance to watch the pilot until last night. I really enjoyed it. This is how a pilot should be: pulls you in immediately and has you begging for more by the end.
What I typically do, when merging from other branches, is just create a temporary topic branch for a merge dry run. If everything is cool, then just do the merge...otherwise figure out the conflicts so you'll know what to do on the real merge (or just merge in the dry run if you get everything...
What kind of "Windows" app are you building? UWP? I've never worked with those, but I'm guessing these signing keys have something to do with the Windows Store. Classic Windows WPF and web applications don't require such things.
Any thoughts on Garuda? Frames I've tried thus far are Excalibur, Rhino Prime, and Mesa Prime. I've had the most fun with Garuda and really like her survivability and utility.
A friend introduced me to Warframe a few weeks back. Very impressed. Even more impressed considering the game is free. Why would anyone play Destiny, Anthem, et al. over this?
