    The Stand

so many weird decisions... the whole penthouse scene with Bobby-Terry, the face off between Abagail and Flagg... completely unnecessary and stupid changes. the removal of the whole traveling the desolate america part is one of the most disappointing parts. wasn't trashcan supposed to have a...

yeah king has a habit of starting off strong and then kind of letting things fall apart mid-way, the dark tower series is another example. the shining was pretty solid throughout though, and a few others.

I guess they might revisit harold's storyline. because they also added a bunch of extra fluff about him being bullied and his family, and skipped the whole travelling through wasteland US and meeting Stu and Glenn and others bit.

    The Stand

they haven't even introduced Larry or Nick in the show yet. Only Stu, Fran, Harold and a little bit of Flagg. and yeah they start it with Harold cleaning bodies in the zone, then time skip back to Fran and Harold becoming the only ones left alive in their town and then forward to Fran being...

agree, the strength of stephen kings books in general are the beginning slow and steady build-ups, so it's really weird that they try and skip around and mess that whole part up.

watched the first episode. so basically following the book but adding a lot of time skipping back and forth, focusing and adding a lot on Harold and less on Fran and Stu for some reason, and changing the setting to a more contemporary one and not 1980s. Whoopie Goldberg as Abigail. no blue...

    Divinity: Original Sin 2

I found having a team (2 or 4) of physical damagers only was overall smoother and faster than mixing or magic only. Yes, undead for the win, with the shapeshift mask and immunity to death fog is very potent, especially in later game when you can use death fog barrels/crates to cheese a lot of...

seems a bit too many baddies in the same movie if it's gonna be riddler, penguin, catwoman and maybe someone else? 2 villains per movie seems to be the standard for batman. i can only think of the first batman movie with jack nicholson as the joker that only had 1 villain.
