I've been taking a 'Leadership & U.S. Politics' class this semester. It's worthless, yet interesting. It's unbelievable what people blame presidents for. Every week we get some dipshit in here who's like "where does the buck stop?!" or "we need a leader in Congress!" Completely fucking oblivious...
Sorry you linked a NY Post article that attempted to argue that because 1 of 10 UHG Executive Vice Presidents donated to Obama it's somehow "crony politics" even though the fucking CEO of the company supports Republicans. Maybe if you got into "general board discussions" more often, you'd...
So after a quick google search it looks like the CEO of UnitedHealth Group donated primarily (if not exclusively) to Republicans. Furthermore, UHG seems to have like 10~ different Executive Vice Presidents.
It's not a "theory" or a "concept." There are these things called 'other countries,' and in some of these countries they've implemented single-payer healthcare systems. This enables us to make comparisons.
Single-payer being cheaper is a fact, Merlin. Google healthcare spending by country.
Spend years and years advocating for single-payer. Get berated by conservatives over the failings of the healthcare alternative to single-payer they themselves invented and first implemented.
Conservatives. Preventing us from having nice things while simultaneously blaming us for our lack of...
They could run as Democrats, since ideologically consistent Libertarians are just as close to being Democrats as they are Republicans, if not closer. The reason they choose to run as Republicans is because they're generally hypocrites when it comes to social issues.
Theoretical libertarians could come close to that. But actual libertarian candidates and representatives are basically never pro-universal healthcare, pro-universal education, pro-gay rights, pro-choice, or anti-religion.
Imagine a libertarian party whose candidates weren't all ideological hypocrites on social issues and whose candidates didn't all run as Republicans. Wouldn't that be a sight.
Lets watch the Cowboys blow a lead in the last 4 minutes of the game for the 83rd time in a row because they're fucking awful and have been for over half of my life, or maybe lets watch an actual good team like the Chiefs.
When we gonna flex the Chiefs into a primetime game? As much as I enjoy watching teams like the Rams, Vikings, and Buccaneers embarrass themselves, maybe we could watch a team that isn't completely fucking retarded and incompetent from top to bottom?
Why are your jimmies so rustled, pops? That's no way to go through life. A geezer like you should be taking it easy. Just relax. Hilldawg's gonna win in 2016 and it'll all be okay.
You accused us of "overlooking partisan lies" and then asserted that doing so made us "just as evil and just as destructive" as Hitler/Stalin/Mao/Pol Pot/etc.
I repeat, "just as destructive." Direct quote.
