Hunter dodge gets a lot of shit but when I play my alts I find myself missing it and wishing I had an instant reload button. If the dodge had i-frames I think it'd be fine and fit the class. The "harder to kill while dodging" perk doesn't do jack shit, either.

Yeah I just crossed the 140hr mark, playing since launch. Still not 305, only beat raid twice, don't have all the event weapons or armor, haven't tried prestige nightfall... If you played more than that in a couple of weeks you need to go outside once in a while.

I've gotten most of my Uriel from gunsmith

8 shot magazine, makes clearing chest rooms in the raid pretty straight forward.

Finished Calus tonight with a group of nasally teens, was annoying, but got my arms at 298, sniper at 305. Went back solo to get my 3 chests and left with 2 exotic, 5 legendary engrams... full of trash. Looks like I'm stuck at 303 grinding IB until reset.

Yeah, raid sword does extra damage with consecutive hits and heavy hits refills ammo. It's easy the best sword in the game.

The sword is pretty great. Used it on dogs yesterday and killed faster than using Merciless. Also it's a OHKO in crucible which is pretty fun.

Got SMG during raid and pulse from tokens, either of them good? Group fell apart at Calus :/

Banshee will try to offer it to you every time you speak to him, if you don't want to accept it yet just hit B. It will rise with your base power. Accept it when you feel you've hit a wall.

Isn't it rank 10? Which would be 200 tokens? Edit - just ended first session with 45 tokens, so it isn't so bad. The daily challenge nets you 15 so that will result in half of the needed tokens alone if you get them each day. Even if you lost every match, that's a requirement of just over 7...

Meh. Power level over 300 means nothing anyway.

I feel like the biggest growth in my PvP ability has had nothing to do with my actual ability, but instead recognizing when to attack, when to run, and that waiting to regen is a-ok.

Yeah basically farm public events until you're 265 and then accept rewards from your weekly milestones. Or you could turn in a milestone, then do an exotic quest, then turn in a milestone, then exotic quest... Exotics always drop above your current level, the quests are the blue markers on each...

Finally got some experienced people to run a PUG raid with today. Did the whole thing in just over an hour with one wipe on gauntlet and one on Calus. I ended up with sins of the past, chest x2, legs, cloak and the prospector.

Also, bigger creatures take more ropes. Ropecaster is life tho.

Doesn't help that the companion app is garbage. I don't get notifications until like 40 minutes after messages are sent.

Well at least we've gotten a trial engram before. Full clan and no raid emblems ever. Everyone just running pugs.

Merciless, Coldheart and Wardcliff are awesome heavies, vigilance wing is great in PvP

Oh, there are many others I don't have yet. Borealis, darci, graviton, hard light, rat king, skyburner, sturm and of course acrius. For Hunter armors I am only missing spine and stompees. Titan and warlock I only have the few armors that Xur has sold.

Unfortunately, without that exotic grenade launcher, the six shot spec is the only way I can solo watcher rooms for raid chests. Fire one rocket, dodge, fire second, trigger GG and double tap the remaining two.

Hunter abilities could use some fixing but I've never felt weak. Golden gun can drop 30-50% of boss health in a single shot, arc super can stunlock bosses, shadowshot can generate mass orbs. Dodges in general are whack (needs i-frames) but triple jump is life.

Take your time, enjoy the game. You will be maxed out in what feels like no time. People that rush through are now people that complain about a lack of content. Also, play Hunter because the jumps for both other classes suck a bag of dicks.
