Read again. He said if you infuse a 265 into a 260(+5) that it will show as a 270, even though it's really 265(+5). Infusion isn't confusing at all. Just look at your mods.

Yeah you might have a wipe or three but unless you're going in completely blind raids aren't too hard. You just need one person to communicate a plan and you can make it happen. I only ever had one group give up and bail on the final boss of VOG and every raid I've done was PUG.

Not sure if the levels are set or what. I got the exotic helm and a purple grenade launcher, both of which are 200+ and level 16 req when I finished quest at 11 / ~114.

Exotics have multiple mod slots. Assume purple armor does too. I'm lvl 11 and have two exotic armor so far. One from storyline mission, one from Shaxx's crucible call to arms mission. Nightstalker from TTK.
