My brother has an induction range and he likes it but I don't think I'd have one myself. Besides not being able to use aluminum pans at all, it doesn't really work that well with thinner pans of any sort, even carbon steel pans or woks. It's great with cast iron or a nice thick bottomed pan...
What do you want a pickup for? If it's just for hauling shit home from Home Depot you can rent a pickup truck from UHaul or in some cases directly from Home Depot for like $20 plus mileage, and it will have a bigger bed than some mini-pickup. Unless it's more than a few times a year it will...
There was a discussion on a facebook group for our small town on what kind of restaurants people would like to see in town and I couldn't believe how many people said Perkins, IHOP, or Denny's. What the fuck? Those are places you go because you only have $5 or nothing else is open because...
It's sort of interesting. They do have the ability to condemn your land but they are really trying to avoid that. I have joined a landowner's group to hire lawyers to negotiate with the company and they are offering what to me is a pretty significant amount of money for the easement...
California sucks at everything. They are currently surveying to run a 600 kV DC transmission line across part of my ranch. It's one of several that are connecting the eastern and western grids to make it easier for wind and solar power to get from the middle of the country out to the coasts...
Kim turning herself in shamed him. He was willing to scam his way out of what he knew he deserved but he wasn't willing to lose Kim's respect. She has been his conscience at various points in the show.
Ever heard of markets? If demand increases, price goes up, then supply goes up. The government can throw some money in there too if they want to. Increased demand for electricity is not an unsolvable problem, even without the use of coal.
I agree. The grid needing upgrades for new technology is to be expected. You don't stop technology so we can keep using the old electrical grid. The raw materials argument is horseshit. Just because we're not mining them doesn't mean they don't exist. I think Fucker has been reading Exxon...
Joe Manchin sort of had a point when he said if we can't build electric cars fast enough to keep up with the demand, why are we subsidizing them? It does sort of make sense to only give the incentive to lower income folks at least as long as rich people are buying them as status symbols and...
That's what happened to Sonny Bono's wife years ago. She hit a tree skiing, thought she was okay and decided not to get checked, then later in the day her brain swelled and she died.
My plant ID app called it Periscaria maculosa. Common names include lady's thumb, spotted lady's thumb, Jesusplant, and redshank.

If the app is right it sounds like it's generally considered a weed.
I have an NFL app on my android TV Chromecast and it's letting me watch preseason with good quality but I'm assuming it won't work on regular season games.
Metabo is a good brand. I have one of their bench grinders and their big 6" angle grinder. The angle grinder is a beast. I've burned holes in multiple pieces of clothing from standing in the sparks which has never happened with the other angle grinders I have.
Buy the Tormek if you want to sharpen fine edges though. You have to be good to not destroy a fine edge with a bench grinder and even better with an angle grinder. If you really want to be able to both grind and sharpen with it you probably want a 2" x 72" belt grinder but they're expensive.
It was pretty suspenseful watching pictures materialize one line at a time from aol newsgroups. When I got internet fast enough that the whole picture just instantly appeared...I'm not going to lie...something was lost.
If you put one on an angle grinder, wear safety glasses. They are a lot more rpms than a drill and wires fly out of it and stick into your body parts sometimes. I think I'd get an angle grinder before a bench grinder. More versatile and you can always stick it in the vise if you need it to...
I would watch the Mike as a dirty cop show just to see Jonathan Banks at 80 playing a 35 year old cop in Philly with no makeup like he's some kind of Benjamin Button character.
This. But also know that they will rust again, even inside your house unless you clear coat them.
EDIT: After seeing that picture I see that it has the anti-rust oil on it too. Might be worth picking up a gallon of acetone to clean them. It will be a lot cheaper than WD-40 and probably...
