I don't know why anyone would think they'd have their finger on the pulse of "MMO journalism" enough to scramble to respond to an mmorpg.com article. The focus on "communication" cracks me up. It reminds me of the Norm MacDonald bit on Bill Cosby.
"He said the worst part of the Trade Depot...

lol @ integrity. The issue was reported within hours and was something many players would discover inadvertently on their own.
At this point I think I'm waiting for a huge mod release rather than the base game to be "finished". Anything on the horizon or out already? I'd love a Pendor-style mod.
Thanks for the detailed response.
I was thinking about this concept as EQ's latest TLP server's economy got obliterated by a new dupe. EQ's cash shop currency, Kronos, are tracked outside of EverQuest, so the concept of a rollback might not even cover them. Someone might trade their stash of...
sk/sha/mag will continue to be very strong in LS. I think monks might be pretty good too.
Right now I'm planning on making my mage have a rogue Persona, so I can sneak passed see-invis mobs and then summon. I'm also planning on doing an enchanter persona on my bard and a druid persona on my...
I just finished listening to the first three books of Catharsis. Catharsis (Awaken Online, #1)
I'm currently enjoying the latest Defiance of the Fall then will listen to the next Primal Hunter that's coming out in the next couple of days.
Ah, ok. That makes sense then. They should've had Lars watch this vid, I think this is narrated by Marc Thompson, who I think "invented" this voice for Thrawn and Lars just copied it? I dunno.
Using vehicles was an easy choice for me because there's nothing like that in DSP or Factorio. Factorio is constant train logsitics and DSP is all drones. Belts for long-distance transport is cheeks in all games.
Just finished this. I think this show is the final nail in the coffin for the Mandoverse to me.
There's so much to dislike but the biggest issue I have is that the scenes don't really make sense together. It feels like they have the same problem with the last Mandalorian season where they...
Thanks for linking that. That list feels about right. Looking through that list the only egregious one I saw is .
@Obsidian I'd still recommend against reading it and just playing the game and accept you're only going to see a portion of the possible endings. Trying to unravel all the...
This bothered me a lot too, even to the point where I chose a party build that had modest sleep requirements (basically used berserkers which were effective without any abilities that required a rest, and were very strong 4 times per rest).
If you don't care about spoilers, I bet there's a...
Extra life on live is fun, because all loot is about to become basically worthless in a few weeks, or will be as raids get released. Loot distribution on raids takes longer than a lot of the kills. It's a good time to fill out Hunter achievements and rarish augs though.
Seems like the primary use-cases are:
Main switching (How I plan to use it)
Utility (FD, ports, coth, track, sneak etc)
True 'alt switching' where you can bring one of multiple characters to a group
I don't think they'll facilitate fast-switching where you can switch in combat. Where APs are...
I wonder how many people made 100k+ by a dumb-luck BTC "investment" they made, that has motivated them to invest in all kinds of dumb garbage like NFTs and shitcoins with little to show for it. And anytime someone confronts them on it, they can just pull up their BTC value.
In terms of EQ's TLP servers, which have significant trading of items for their ingame p2w currency, Krono (that you can consume to get a month of subscription privileges on your account, which you need to actually play on TLP), what would the benefit to the developer of having NFTs be an option?
I tapped out in DA:I about 30 hours in. Felt too much like an MMO fetch quests and the main storyline wasn't interesting enough to be worth it. Can't recommend unless you really like the genre.
