Pathfinders Wrath of the Righteous module 4 of 6. I recently adapted it to a 5E campaign, was very successful. Pretty sure we started around level 13, end at level 20. Rush, or Krastalvo may remember better.

Roll a monk, could use a monk in our groups, or wizard. For duo, any melee and shaman works well.

Almost: Pets are strong, warriors have huge aggro modifiers, knights have additional defensive skills, i'm sure there is a few more.

I have a weird fear of shit in water just outside of my vision so the quest in lake rathe where you supposed to dive down to grab a coin(if I remember that correctly) I noped the fuck out because it was too dark to see the bottom. Never did figure out if the coin was below that platform or not.

Brigand, they have lots of ways to stun or force no direction change so you can backstab. They also have my favorite move where you lay down and when hit you parry for massive damage. Good times. Play what you find fun because no class can really solo anything worth killing in these games.
