That's not how religion works in EQN. You never 'choose' a religion. The religions and their ideals exist, and if you choose to follow them is up to you. Ex, acting with valor may make the church of Mithaniel like you, without being an actual 'member' of the church. From what I understand anyway

If they put in racial class restrictions, I guarantee they won't add racial abilities. Race will only be a matter of aesthetic if this is the case, so in which case, who cares?

Effectively the same thing. Unlocking a class doesn't unlock all that class' abilities, they must be earned via further gameplay. Edit: which is what makes me think classes will be for sale.
