    World of Warcraft: Current Year

I wrote why it is important in my post, and Foggy reiterated the point in the following post? It removes the incentive to speed run to 60 to be able to do the weekly quests before the reset. Now people can speed run because they like speed running it, and the people who like lore and reading...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

This is one timegate I kinda agree with, due to how the weekly reset works, and is at a different time for NA & EU. For NA, this debuff will last a whole 16 hours. People still take off work to marathon releases, and the last minute delay, last month, fucked over a bunch of people's vacation...

    Total War: Warhammer

There have been so many campaigns (very hard+) that it's difficult to remember when I was forced into a siege tactical battle. The sieges I can vaguely recall were a couple of High Elf battles. So, probably the Eltharion (The Warden) and/or Alith Anar (Shadow Rogue) campaigns. Generally, I hate...

They have class trials, where you can play a max level toon for two hours, try a few and see what you like. I don't think there were any major overhauls like in previous expansions, and for SPriests, it sounds like they just got fixed, finally. I have read that they actually fixed feral as well...

Ion did a press tour, here are a couple highlights: Ion would like to formally repudiate the philosophy of "bring the player not the class." He thinks that was something that was articulated a dozen years ago in a very different time. The game itself has moved very far from the problems that...

    The Mandalorian

When I finally sat down to watch Clone Wars, I skipped straight to season 2, and I didn't feel lost in the story (99% of the time). I did that skip because I kept reading about how great Clone Wars was, and it got progressively more mature as the seasons went on. Moreover, I would often read...

They learned after the first or second squish, that they like doing squishes. It was either a blue post or one of the devs, in an interview (shortly after the xpac dropped), said they were planing on a squish every two to three expansions, going forward from that time.

Here is a Systemlands guide for the hardcore raider, from a Russian that also did same type guides for Legion and BFA. It will give you an idea of just how many systems are in play: (English) Medivh's 9.0 Shadowlands Raider Godbook Edit: I guess the forum auto loads the google spreadsheet into...

Siege? What siege? Unless forced by a quest, I auto resolve all offensive sieges on Very Hard+. Which also means I am usually stuck in the siege for, at least, a few turns after attrition sets in (on anything close, battle wise).

Death Knight is a slow melee class (along with Pal) Fairies have the best movement speed ability, by far If covenants are close, they will be tuned around ability/conduit balance Death Knights that dont go Fairy will get outperformed on all fights that require movement (90% of them) Therefore...

GoT - Is Over, Post Your Drogon Sightings

Obvious magic explanation: The Nite King saw the dragon coming and was able to cast his maximized empowered frost shield spell. Area learned the invis to undead spell from the faceless men, so he was blindsided by the +5 dagger of undead slaying. P.S. The best battle depicted in the TV show was...

You can still manually update addons by downloading them directly off the web. I minimized my addon use to (mostly) ElvUI, Recount, DBM, and weakauras a long time ago and never seen the need to install an extra program to upkeep 4 addons.

They have raised at least $128 million so far, so they must have some kinda of practical plan for making money in the somewhat near term. It would be interesting to know how long, both for this company and Starlink, have estimated before they start turning a profit. From Forbes(Mar 3, 2020)...

So, in order to use Pawn properly, you need to sim your own stat weights, as for most every spec, they change substantially depending on gear, azurite, and essences. I much prefer Raidbots (over AskMrRobot) for this, as they use the weekly simcraft (or nightly, if you want) builds. If you want...

Multiboxing 2 accounts w/o key mirroring is fairly easy and 3 or 4 probably wouldn't be too bad (although a lot of work), after you got used to it. When I did the RAF account (shortly before they nerfed it), I used AutoHotkey (I think) to send keybinds on my second action bar to the second...

Aye, the majority of them are very low, so once they go dead, they wont last long as space junk (between 1 month and 1 year). SpaceX states that the planed average lifespan of a Starlink sat is only 5 years, under power. So, I'd imagine they also plan a continuous replacement rate as sats fail...

I'm not artist, so, do portraits in general have a high degree of difficulty? If so, you are then trying to add effects on top it, making for a difficult painting to get right. My non artistic eye has to agree that Thor's eyes are going to be the main issue and I'm having a difficult time...

I can see your point, but having high speed internet anywhere on the globe should be a huge boon for the global economy. I made far, far more gold in Legion, per character with optimal set ups, than in WoD, from the table.
  30. Burns

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

The BFA table was utterly worthless. The gold from it was probably less than 10% per week, per character, of what we were getting in Legion and it never improved much throughout the xpac. I don't expect the Shadowlands table to be any better, but, on the other hand, it can't get any worse.

They might have changed it after the 8.1.5 (?) Alchemy tradeskill tool debacle. For those that don't know: The tool allowed anyone with the tool to loot cauldrons that were peppered throughout the world and you could get anything from Flasks to Invis pots to a cauldron (low % chance) from it...

Kinda. As soon as it is looted, it becomes free for all, and you cant skin a mob with loot on it. If someone was taking the time to multibox, that should mean they are killing 5+ mobs at a time, but only able to skin 1 at a time. So, once they AoE loot, all the corpses become FFA, and people...

Last I did skinning was in 8.2 Nazjatar and skinning was definitely not multi tap (one skinner per animal). Throughout the xpac, when there was a World Quest to kill animals, there were far more people killing mobs than people with the skinning skill. So, you just needed to take a Skinner out...
