Its a crime that they don't teach finance in high school, even basic shit like your IRA. I only had one teacher in my entire learning career mention IRA's and it was my 9th grade science teacher FFS.
It's just like Blazin said earlier, now that the cat is out of the bag, the wall street traders have adjusted and are probably milking the shit out of them.
The spac lifecycle may be accelerating. Just looking at the last couple of years, the average spac went from 18 months to close a deal down to under a year. Also, certain sectors are exploding like EV spacs while others are being ignored.
The trigger is the rumor before the merger. It never shot up after the rumor/confirmation and when the merger hit it went down. Not all spacs are winners, thats why you need to be active in a couple
You can find that for dozens of spacs, maybe pick better spacs?
6k gains on 46k invested in one month, and most of these haven't even had their 1st rumor yet. But yeah, spacs suck. Careful with those spac scams guys!
Pretty much. Some people don't like to get in too soon, so they'll wait a few months and buy in at 11-12. Then some sell for a quick 10-20% while others hold from more. This is where you start to develop what works for you.
We need to trick him to make a post with the word fiduciary in it first. In cciv news, speculation is that the price is so high is because its got the interest of whales/institutions
You hold it until the first rumor of which company they're in talks to merge with comes out. When that happens it can shoot as high as 30$+ within a day or two
Dunno, this one is not acting out in the usually spac pattern for multiple reasons, its very emotional at this point. It's gone as high as 35 before coming back down to 30, and people are talking about buying 50$ calls in march
So all that being said about real estate: Don't.
Seriously, unless you have connections or are your own GC, it just isn't worth it, before you even factor in the current politics.
SNDL bounced back from that share offering better than I thought it would. Also going to take a stab at trading calls, either way weed is back on the menu
Correct, option sellers cannot exercise early, only buyers. But like I said, it almost never happens. Most options are bought and sold before they're assigned or expire.
Agreed, most I'm going to do with cciv right now is play around with options. I made less than if I had bought it at 20 but protected myself all the way do to 16
